Well I want to learn of this stuff and see if I can get help from helpful spirits. Was a Christian most of my life but now have realized that the Jesus spirit just wont help me, looking for a spirit that I can work with to get abundance and romantic love. Or a one night stand. So far have not gotten anywhere with the spirits mentioned here. I have a list of them. Several nights our (Am married) picture window got banged on after asking various spirits for help. The one at 1am and 3 degrees outside and seeing no one got me thinking. Wife is still a practicing Christian. I have left it as it dont satisfy my needs. Have a good day.

How long have you been practicing?
i have been very on and off in my practice of magic, but i dare say about 7 years. i have moments where iām preoccupied by other topics and donāt find it in me to study/do more on magic in specific, though i try to maintain certain habits as frequently as i can, eg divination, prayer, meditation, honing my luck and improving my senses.
Do you follow any particular system or tradition?
i donāt think soā¦ iām impartial to kabbalah, solomonic magic and enochian magic, but i donāt want to restrict my practice to just a small list of what i find interesting. i am eastern orthodox and this does shape what practices i consider to be off-limits, but this is highly personal to me and my own understanding. while editing my text i realize i do incorporate a lot of planetary and astrological relations in my day-to-day life, but the information is so widely used and has been with me for so long that i struggle to consider it a system of its own. i struggle to explain this succinctly. 
Do you have any practical experience in magick?
if meditation and prayer count, sure. my practical experience in actual spellwork and ritual magic is very few and far between, the focus mostly being to protect, heal or bring fortune (mostly with others in mind). i have maybe one actual baneful working under the belt, not counting the occasional unwitting hex. i do not often see a reason for doing elaborate spells or rituals because i wrongly see it as a last resort only for extreme situations, but i have gotten slightly better at navigating this misunderstanding in recent times.

Current ambitions/struggles
my main impediment to any magical improvement is the mindset i have where if something can be done without magic, i should do it without magic. too easily this leads to lack of practiced ability even if i know the theory like the back of my hand. this will improve. something more concrete: i struggle with astral projecting and wish to become more adept. i also simply wish to learn and do. i am a lifelong learner!

Hi everyone! Iām gonna go by Entropy. Iāve been an on-and-off practitioner for 10 years. My cultural background is eastern European but I discarded christianity long before starting my practice.
Iād say my spiritual/religious views are centered around Hermeticism and Quantum Physics, both of which allow the existence of multiple pantheons. Iāve worked with a Greek Goddess before and had lovely results. Iāve also attempted to work with the Goetia on numerous occasions through the years - but I was mostly too inexperienced and too preoccupied with other aspects of my life to notice signs, let alone results. For the last two years I stopped practicing magick/witchcraft altogether and started focusing on getting results through quantum physics and subconscious reprogramming alone, and that brought me incredible results including the happiest period of my life. However, I started facing problems again and as theyāre too overwhelming for me personally to just observe them out of existence, Iāve returned to the craft.
I used a simple spell found in the BALG forums 8-9 years ago with great results. Itās the Goetia thatās brought me onto this forum now.
My main focus right now is to get rid of the trouble Iām having in education and my love life, which triggered a long-term freeze response that Iāve just recently came out of.
Iāll try to help where I can, but Iām mostly here to learn at least as of right now.

Iām from Quebec. Iāve been practicing about five years. Generally I practice automatic writing and mirror scrying, along with witchcraft and other black magicks. I also dabble in tarot cards.

Hello, My name is Jay, hailing from Pennsylvania.
I have been in and out of practice since the age of 14, now 25, dabbling here and there with different magicks. Early on, I was a bit more towards working with energy over all, but soon started to create my own path by learning about all kinds of different forms of magick, though I stayed mostly towards just grey magick. I still do like to try new things, I love learning.
As for a system or tradition, I could not really answer that. I have in a way, carved my own path and chose what knowledge i wished to learn. I have been out of practice for a couple, if not a few years, due to personal life events and keeping consistently busy. Now that I have more time, Iāve been drawn to here for guidance on the new steps I am about to take down my path, eager to learn.
I have experience in sigil work, tarot, some forms of grey and black magic, energy work, as well as astral travel, and some draconic magick. Iāve worked with quite a few spirits, and have evoked them. Otherwise, in my opinion, I still am quite very new, and have much to learn.
My current objective is to learn more about dream magick and lucid dreaming, how to evoke and interact with spirits through different senses, and maybe even find different things here that I may be interested in, which is actually how I truly ended up here. I forget the exact way that lead me here, but eventually I seem to move towards sex magick and working with/connecting with a succubus. Something drew me towards it, and I did lots of research on here about it. I already have wrote a letter of intent and everything, and am searching for any way I can communicate with those beyond the physical plane of existence. I want nothing more than to work on this connection i have made, and already have learned a lot, though i still have trouble with the interacting and communicating part.

I worked with Goddess Aphrodite and still have her altar in my room, but I believe my freeze response might have pushed her away, so Iām trying to get back into her good graces. As for the Goetia Iāve petitioned before, they would be Sallos, Beleth, Dantalion, and another one who I accidentally offended and whose name I wonāt share rn, over the last 10 years. Itās not that they didnāt work - I believe I was too inexperienced and immature to acknowledge the help they gave me. I kinda expected results to fall out of the sky.
Iām currently working with Prince Seere and Iām seeing results and constant signs, and Iām glad I get a chance to not repeat my past mistakes.
