How does it work actual when it comes to magick work with entitites. I have for instance a love one I want to heal so I consider Marbas. If I take his sigil and connect it with the avatar to the person does it creates stronger link between Marbas and the person. If I then penetrete it with my dagger and burn it in the offerbowl can there create misunderstands that Marbas then kill him instead?
Yeah, I wouldn’t stab and burn a picture of someone I’m trying to heal.
Even with the best of intentions here, the subconscious symbol of a weapon causing damage is probably going to override and send out the wrong energy.
No reason it would except that you think it does. The link, is you in this case. You know the person, you are asking for healing, it’s all going through you, and you are the healer asking the spirits for help.
You want to visualize them whole, happy and healthy.
I don’t stab it. I penetrate it. I fold the sigil and then penetrate it with dagger slowly and move it into the flames of the chandle. Burning papers with intention written on is a satanic and demonolatry tradition.
Has it something to do with we all as mental bodies are manifested from the same source (akasha)?
The concept is still the same. You are still driving a knife through it.
No I don’t think this is related.
If Marbas is who you want to go with, then I would think a petition spell or evocation is called for, with the intention of the person being healed.
Tweezers (or fingers) can just as well place the petition in the flaming offering bowl.
I must say however, Marbas, Buer and other spirits will hold up their end of the bargain. They are closer to our plane than angels, yet not only Archangel Raphael, but 22 Shem angels can heal. Yet, there are no devious ends from the angels. Food for Thought.
My knife are infused with fire elemental energy so the energy goes into the sigil. It’s the same I use to invoke.
How can knowing the person’s existence alone create the link?
That is the link. You can’t work on someone you don’t know exists.
In the case of trying to heal, I agree that piercing and burning is contradicting symbolism.
I had a successful healing using Buer, using a modification of Winterfield’s rituals in Demons of Magick. I hate cold showers more than anything, but it’s the intensity that matters, so I offered the experience of a cold shower for as long as I could, in exchange for fixing my step-father’s heart.
I just used the ending. I stood naked next to the cold water and followed the instructions for giving the offering from page 35, which is the core ritual up to calling the spirit. I then made my request and waited for a gut feeling that he accepted. As soon as I felt that, I stared into the sigil while I stepped back under the water. It was only about 10 seconds, but it was enough.
I learned later that my step-dad was near dying at that moment, and the action of Buer stabilized him long enough for doctors to put a pacemaker in him, which was several days. That was about 4 years ago and he’s still going strong at 87.
I would like to add that I also had great results from performing JS Garrett’s Deification Ritual (training is online at BALG). My bio-dad was in his last hours, also from a heart condition, though a different one. The meds that had stopped working started working again, and he lived another 3 months, with enough energy to do work on his house. He was able to finish his plans with his loved ones, during his last days, and go without leaving anything undone or unsaid. This ritual is long, complicated, and involves animal sacrifice, though, so it’s definitely not for everyone.
