Hunting for Shiva's Sigil

Hello everyone. As the title says I am hunting for a sigil to Shiva. I have searched online for a legitimate sigil to work with yet I come back empty handed.

Does anyone have experience with this?

At some point, your abilities should be strong enough that you don’t need a sigil, only a name, to evoke.

Lord Father Shiva does not have a sigil per se in the western occultism sense. What Father Shiva has is called a yantra. A yantra is more complex than a sigil. A yantra is inhabited by many spirits including the presiding Deity. The presiding Deity is located in the central black dot within the yantra. The central black dot is called: “BINDU”. Not all yantra has a bindu. Also a Deity can have more than one yantra. Here are some of Father Shiva yantras:

  1. Shiva Yantra #1

  2. Shiva Yantra #2

  3. Shiva Shakti yantra

  4. Father Shiva Yantra Meditation

P.S.: The meditation itself starts at 1:42

Wow I really didn’t know any of that
Very interesting. Thanks for the insight my friend.

Can I ask you for the source of his shiva sigil?

I grew up in India, I have never come across a “legitimate” sigil of Shiva. I’m glad you’ve found something on this forum though.

"May the benevolence of the god Shivoo bring blessings on your house.
–And on yours.
And may His wisdom bring success in all your undertakings.
–And in yours.
And may His radiance light up your life.
–And UP YOURS!

From “Carry On Up The Khyber” (1968)

The name should suffice. However there’s a sigil belonging to Shiva in Asenath Masons book - Awakening Lucifer. Really good material by the way it’s used for invocation mostly. But I am morr than sure you can use it to evoke Shiva.

Now I have never worked with the Hindu Pantheon. However I am pretty sure there are plenty of prayers and mantras to awaken and call upon the power and essence of Shiva.

Thoughtforms share the name too so using just a name can lead to any being or thoughtform claiming its shiva. Which a lot of occultist/energy workers fall for when using just a name, however, it’s also good to make sure the sigil is also legitimate.

true and here is one:
|Om Namah Sham-Bhavaya Cha | Mayo Bhavaya Cha | Namah Shanka-Raya Cha || Mayas-Karaya Cha | Namah Shivaya Cha | Shiva Taraya Cha |

I like the idea of using yantras or a statue until you feel you can get a personal sigil from him.

Forget the sigil. The yantra is all you need.

The yantra of lord shiva is the five point star

om is the sigil for the almighty

You can create your own while meditating on Shiva. It’s all a symbolic representation of a state of consciousness.

I did some low level work with Kali once, but never Shiva.

I used a self made mantra and a verification to prove it was her.

There are lots of imposter parasites out there scrounging for power, if you find one, either enslave it, consume it, or destroy it, but do not feed it.

The Almighty is Mother Durga since one of Her names is Maha Shaktaye which is the datif form of Maha Shakti. Maha means the Most and Shakti means power or energy; therefore Maha Shakti literaly means The Almighty. A lot of the names of the Mother Goddess are constructed in the superlative. Om or Aum is NOT a sigil; it is just a mantra that stands for the beginning of creation or simply put creation.

Shiva is a Hindu God, their symbolism lies within the Yantra (Sanskrit for ‘instrument’ or ‘machine’) as opposed to the most common magickal sigils that are dominant on this forum too.
Yantras are the visual representations of certain Gods, Deities & subtler energies. Adding the mantra (read: enn) chanting & you’re good to go!

Shiva Yantra:

Shiva Mantra: OM NAMAH SHIVAY : 108 TIMES : POWERFUL SHIVA MEDITATION : ACTIVATE THIRD EYE ! - YouTube
The Shiva Mantra is ‘Aum Namah Shivaya’ (the ya in Shiva-ya spoken as ye). The chanter says ‘Om’, which is a distorted view in Hinduism, whereas Hindu occultists all use the universal ‘Aum’.

Meaning of the mantra:
The origin of this mantra is within the Yajurveda (1 of the 4 Vedas, the quote unquote ‘Holy Books Of Knowledge’ in Hinduism.

‘Aum’ is the transcendental primordial vibration. It symbolizes the whole cosmos.
This first answer on this quora question explains it shortly & way better than I can: https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-meaning-of-Om-in-Hindi?ch=10&share=319f2f32&srid=hvHph

‘Namah Shivaya’ represent the 5 elements.
Na represents the Earth element
Mah represents the Water element
Si represents the Fire element
Va represents the Air element
Ya represents the Soul or Ether

I personally have been blessed by Shiva (near death experience aged 3) & he had been with me ever since.
Meditating on the mantra is imo enough to bring Shiva in your presence, but it’s all up to you of course

One thing I should add that if you use the Yantra, do this analysis of the Yantra once & you’re ready to go to use the Yantra.

  1. Inspect the white spaces, which is ‘That which is out of boundaries’.
  2. Inspect the 4 geometrical shapes attached to the main square. Know that these 4 'T’s represent the 4 directions. Or the 4 Archangels, if that is your fashion.
  3. Inspect the 8 petals. Know these 8 petals represent the 5 elements and the 3 instruments of the mind: ego, the conscious and subconscious mind.
  4. Focus on the triangles. The triangles towards you (downwards) represent the feminine principle of this cosmos or Energy. The triangles from you (upwards) represent the masculine principle of this cosmos or Consciousness.
  5. Focus on the dot in the middle (The Bindu, roughly it is the sacred symbol of the cosmos in it’s totality; the cosmic consciousness).

Now you are initiated into the Yantra & when using the Shiva Yantra, just focus on the Bindu while consciously gazing at the whole Yantra (with some magickal sigils you do the same).
