How do I get started in summoning magick and make contact? New Magician Help & Introductions

Noob here, how would i start to get in contact with a being? Am i correct in thinking an “invocation” of a being is where you summon them subtly in your inner dimension, talking to them “in your own head” , but its still a real conversation and they can do things for you, bit an “evocation” is where you make them appear in the “outside world”? If i am correct in this, an invocation would be sufficient right? I need tremendous healing or my life is pretty fucked. You seem like an experienced person here, if you could maybe read my posts in the beginner thread and help me with some tips to read, clean myself to get ready for this work that would be amazing I am at my witts end, is it even possible for beginners to come in contact with entities within a couple of months of work?
