I have seen a lot of people on here talking about making their own LBRPs, by changing steps and switching out entities. Could we make a LBRP formula? I know the LBRP can be broken down into parts, which ones are intrinsic, and which ones can be tailored to personal belief?

I don’t use the LBRP but I don’t want to leave you without any kind of response. 
To be honest they are not doing the LBRP any more, imo, they are doing thier own thing inspired by it.
As far as I can remember, having done it all of once and found it to not be my thing, it’s already explained in steps. So can’t you use those steps as the formula and swap out the 4 directions how you like, and change the name of god to what works for you?
I might say, use the druidic Awen and the Celtic gods instead of the Jewish angels.
I personally don’t use this at all, I don’t use pentagrams or hexagrams as I don’t see them as protective anyway, I open my circle using 7 directions as I include above and below and center (spirit) to make a sphere around me not a flat circle (why it’s only 2D in a 3D world I don’t get).
Basically you are
- drawing boundaries around yourself, with the intention set that this is a clean and safe space
- invoking spirit setting your mind to gain connection to the universe to move energy around.
There’s a lot of window dressing to get there, and that’s why I find it “fussy” but with missing a dimension, also incomplete.
You might like the book Ceremonial magic: a guide to the mechanisms of ritual by Israel Regardie that explains and breaks down the Watchtower ritual in a basic way. In that, the banishing ritual of the pentagram is only step 2 and listed out in the appendix.
In it he recommends trying out the ritual a few times to get used to it, as doing that makes it seems a lot less complicated and you’ll get a feel for what you’d like to alter intuitively. I think letting the universe guide you would be better than approaching it intellectually.

The Cicero’s published a book called “The Middle Pillar" which is very different than Regardies book of the same title. Make sure you find the book authored by the Cicero’s.
In there they have some precisely what Mulberry said.
Now, there is a drastic difference here.
To craft an infernal one, there is a version that was originally penned here by UncleAl and or Lady Eva. This would’ve been on the site between 2016 to 2019.

Thank you both, for my own ritual I looked into the purposes of the steps, and swapped out a few things. What would the correspondences be for up down and center? I assume center could be spirit, and up could be ether, but what about down? Typically the lbrp uses north for earth.
