I mentioned on here that I only work with Lady Artemis and am fairly new to all of this; recently, I have been feeling as if there is another deity or so trying to reach out to me. Specifically Lord Hades. My reasoning behind this is simple - He has come to me in a dream when I was younger, someone who works with him did ask him if he had a message or something for me and he indeed did, but wished for it to remain secret until I find out for myself (?), and Ive been STALKED by crows recently (one literally flew and landed on my car and looked me dead in the eyes, and i saw a HUGE amount of them like a SWARM when I went to the store the other day, and I NEVER see them usually). Sorry for the text wall LMFAO but basically I asked Lady Artemis if someone was trying to reach out to me and she said yes so I did a deity identification spread and here was the outcome;
Deity: Page of Wands (here I literally have no clue wtf this was getting at but ive been getting it a lot recently)
A negative trait associated with the deity: Six of Swords (i think this has mostly to do with the imagery of my cards, they are skeletons)
A positive trait: Death (i think this is self explanatory)
What they rule over: Ten of Swords
A symbol they are associated with: The Magician
I was looking for some other interpretations beside my own but definitely do not feel obliged!
Just fyi, I am not against the possibility that I genuinely might just be imagining things and that theres NO deities that are reaching out to me OR that its not Lord Hades. Just throwing my ideas out there!
On the Page of Wands - First it tells you what signs it rules over, but also what star groups it is associated with:
8. Princess (Knave) of Wands. Rules from North Pole to 45"and from 0" of Cancer to 30"of Virgo, the end of Virgo. The Throne of the Ace of Wands extends 45" from 22"-30âof Cancer to 7"-30âof Virgo within the limits of 45" Latitude.
Star groups corresponding to above. Tail of Draco. Head and forepart of Ursa Minor, left arm and part of head and chest of Bootes. The greater part of the Northernmost dog of Canes Venatici. Tail and back of Ursa Major, (an- cient Italian name was Septemtriones, the 7Ploughing Oxen). This includes the celebrated Seven stars of the constellation called âCharles Wainâ by the English; âSeven Rishisâ by the Hindus, and in the Egyptian Book of the Dead,
Ch. XVII, âThe Seven bright ones who follow their Lord, the Thigh <223> of the northern Heaven.â (Note: In the Zodiac of Denderah, and in the Tablet of Edfu, that Ursa Major is represented as the thigh of an
Page of Wands might be a dry heat type of energy.
So there is that one ⌠perhaps from the star group, or Luna, Sol, or Mercury may be calling you there.
Six of Swords is actually a good sign, like the other sixes. Tiphareth of Yetzirah, King Asmoday, King Belial. A departure, perhaps under cover, and typically by water.
Death - time, change, transformation. Scorpio.
Ten of Swords, ruin, sudden calamity. King Paimon, King Vine.
The magician - tact, skill, occult knowledge, passion.
In celtic terms, I would say Morrighan as she is associated with the raven. Crows caw around me too.
Well donât forget crows do migrate and itâs that time of year. You might be noticing the natural signs of the change in seasons.
However, that you are noticing and itâs stirring feelings in you about it, thatâs the part thatâs interesting and worth paying attention to, I think.
Yeah Page of Wands is very vague âa trusted friend and emissaryâ. But ruling over 10 swords doesnât sound encouraging unless you have a need for baneful work.
It may not be time for them to come forward yet, or they will come a different way.
Odin is the one I would normally associate with crows and this kind of info. He who hanged himself for 9 days to learn the runes, coming through pain and ruin and losing an eye to gain all wisdom.
Odin often appears as crows (all corvus, generally) to people, and Hugin and Munin (meaning, Thought and Memory) are the names of the two ravens that accompany him, and act as his messengers.
Maybe research Odin, if itâs not him, it will still give the path by which another can lead you to more signs for who they are, and if itâs him you should feel itâs right.
Ah definitely! I just usually never see them around where I live! Very strange, so I brushed it off but then a stranger pointed out that they looked as if they were following me, again I brushed it off then the car crow situation ensued so I just felt as though I couldnât ignore it .
Referring to your comment about the ten of swords, I most definitely am attracted to baneful workings and have spoken of a specific person very frequently that I would indeed like to cast some workings on⌠I just refrain because I want to build my craft from the bottom up, but no matter what I do I cannot help how interested I am on workings such as those. I ESPECIALLY have spoken about doing baneful workings a lot recently, with my friend who participates in the craft (who only eggs me on LMFAO). Just thought I should mention that, incase it has any relevance (you never know).
About Norse mythology, after I made this post I decided to throw caution to the wind and just start asking random questions to see if I could narrow it down to what deity it was; They happened to say they were apart of Nordic mythology, much to my dismay because I have very little knowledge on it, but I did ask as well if there was another deity interfering and it said yes, again much to my dismay; I find it funny I keep reiterating how I wish to keep my craft simple now, yet it seems the deities have other plans. Again, I am not against the possibility of me making up signs and answers and there being no deities at all - in fact, when they told me there was another I had to take a moment to myself and just sighđ. I am grateful for them, though:)
Just thought I should mention, from my brief time spent on this forum, I really appreciate how you always seem to respond on many threads iâve read up on, and also my own! Very generous of you! Thank you for your reply!
