A family member asked me and Lilith who do you love more? i have been with Lilith on and off since 2009 i felt a little taken back by the question i replied with a sort of a joke but in the end Lilith was chosen she kept asking a few more times over a few months so we then had a serious conversation where i did say i loved her more then anyone in this world but my work with Lilith came first she did accept it makes jokes saying i use to be loyal which i say come on don’t be like that.
What I’m curious have others had a mother or father husband or wife? boyfriend or girlfriend? son or daughter ask you who you love more? if so how did you handle it? what is the correct reply without being rude? that’s all
I haven’t had this conversation with anyone in real life yet, but I have thought about this. The spirits I’m involved with, with specifically one spirit…I feel I have a deeper connection with them even my own parents but that’s because that spirit has access to a deeper understanding of me (and me of her) then a human is capable of having. Being able to read my thoughts (with consent) and emotions in a way that another human just isn’t capable of doing.
But I like to think each relationship we have (with humans too) all have there place. So I would tell someone that I love them and that every relationship I engage with is equally important in its own way. It would be unfair to compare one relationship with another.
As much as I like interacting with spirits, humans in the physical are tangible and right there.
Sometimes I just feel like that’s enough for me to at least feel comforted by someone who cares.
