Has anyone experienced this before ? A person who intentionally scatters coins on the ground in front of your door ? Is it some kind of hex ?
Using symbols of prosperity would be a bad way to hex, it sounds more like a blessing.
Most lore about finding money is a symbol of good luck, except in America where it’s conditional based on what side is up - if the coin is tails up they think it’s negative and leave it. I’m from England and live in America - it’s therefore been my good luck to pick up a lot of tails-up pennies ![]()
Have you recently moved in? Scattering coins on the step/floor of a new home is a folk practice to bring good luck and prosperity for a new start.
I live in Slovakia and they weren’t euros but Hungarian coins
And I didn’t find the coins, I heard a person from a distance throwing the coins on the ground, at first I thought someone had just dropped them and that the person would pick them up, but nothing, the person threw coins and walked away
No, I didn’t move to that place recently
Maybe check your security there is a scam that thieves implement by placing coins outside a door or threshold to see if the house is occupied or not so they can break in. If the coins are there pick them up as it indicates the place is occupied and they are less likey to break in if it’s a busy house. Maybe do some protections on the house too.
I didn’t think about that, I’ll look into it.
