Depends on the entity and it’s level of being. I think that higher order, what I call cosmic entities, including what many call angelics and deities can be contacted telepathically vey easily.
Most entities do need some kind of system to get through, such as a sigil. So you use those kind of like phone numbers .
Earth bound entities like specific Fae and Djinn you may not reach at all unless you go to the location they are at.
Note I do not use the term “demon” here, as that’s too vague. Some “demons” are “angelic”, some are deities, some are Djinn/Fae, some are astral, some are thoughtforms. They’re all different so I find the term unhelpful magickally speaking.
