Okay so from time to time I like to give offerings to Lucifer and I just gave him one not long ago.I don’t work with him or anything but I like him? It may sound strange but do you have to work with or worship a deity to give an offering.

I don’t see why you can’t do that. It’s a kind of devotional, and I don’t think it’s going to help or harm anything.

Offerings are gifts you give. You don’t need a reason to give them. I don’t generally do offerings in my practice, but when I do, it is done out of simple appreciation.

Offerings are essential mental energy channeled into obtaining or fashioning gifts for them, the labor involved in it. (which is energy) It is the attention given, and the medium by which they pass through into the world. (Further empowering them)

How do I know if the deity I gave an offering to accepted it? Do I ask for a sign ?
