General Curiosity

Hello Everyone.

So i am curious and wondering if anyone else has noticed how social media and the entire internet especially Instagram are suddenly flooding with demonolgy course , videos and people interacting with demons.

Is there something am missing?

I though this topic was highly sensitive and only the bravest dared to explore it.

So whats really going on ???

from my perspective is a shift in mentality of most people from firm belief to question everything or is only your alghorithm like if i only talk about something in front of phone will apear on insta let s not talk if i search on google that is an instant

You know that the algorithm brings to you mostly what you’re researching for, right? :slightly_smiling_face: If you start searching about plants, you’ll get mostly reels about plants. Bonus points if you interract in any way with these reels.

As always I strongly recommend to avoid any kind of spells or even general information about the occult from any random person in social media.

I have never searched such topics on Instagram.

Yes i have done research on google and sometimes youtube. But youtube has only been for general knowledge and nothing else.

I prefer my knowledge from forums of other peoples experiences and usually everyone going down this path knows that wherever you start from you always get intuition to alter things along the way to fit best your connections with the entities.

But unless Google , Youtube are linked with Instagram then i have no idea why my feed occasionally show me videos of people talking about demons , rituals , and witchcraft courses.

Companies use to sell user activity to one another, they know it is you by your IP and device

Fair Enough.

So does this mean the LHP is actually a well discussed topic ?

Because i always thought it was taboo to talk or search about demons , gods and other deities.

So i am in a dilemma.

In the era of the internet and social media, topics that were considered taboo a few decades ago (even unrelated to magic) are now openly discussed in public, online, and even debated in parliaments in many countries. Taboos still exist, but the internet has definitely made discussion of controversial subjects much more normalized.

On top of that, social media runs heavily on views and engagement, so people will often talk, highlight and even exaggerate interest and experience in sensitive topics to get attention.

You’ve posted here though, and the Internet has no privacy unless you use a VPN and do not track. They are reading your cookies and device web history.

You can look for a jacket on your phone, then get to a completely different website like your email on another device, and see ads for jackets.

So, me, I don’t use social media, I use adblock browser on my phone, and an adblock extension that switches off YouTube algorithm everything so I don’t see suggested videos, I only click through my subs. I use an extension that hides clutter and grok on X. I do not use tiktok, IG, twitch, fb or any of that. And I hence I don’t see much I didn’t ask for. I do use Amazon and I just never, ever click ads that I do get in yahoo mail.

I just didn’t want it, I don’t have time to be led around by random nonsense, and that’s how I take back control of my online experience.

As above so below: these things are parasitic and take your energy, it’s sensible to protect your energy as mage and as an Internet user.

Especially from those trying to be influencers on the topic. To be an influencer requires constantly churning out content. The content either ends up being diluted or makes outlandish claims to farm engagement.
