Lately, especially since I decided to work with Beelzebub, some nights I am infested by flies. And some nights I wake up with the sound of flies. They come close to my ear while I am sleeping and wake me up or disturb me just before I go to sleep.
Actually I am not bothered by it and I don’t mind it, but I started thinking about it yesterday when I was repeating the enn of Beelzebub in my Astral Temple and a fly landed on my left hand. After it landed on my hand I had to stop meditating because my hand started itching.
Do you think this is Beelzebub? If he’s doing it, why is he doing it and should I respect that?
I’ve had flies as a manifestation of “Beelzebub” (but never as Ba’al Zebul, hi sreal name, interestingly) and they just come with the territory. Skunks stink and Beelzebub comes as flies. if you really can’t stand it try working with him as Ba’al Zebul instead, that worked a lor better for me on multiple levels, I felt I got a sort of surprised and pleased effect that I respected his origins more than the jew’s mean-spiritied and rather childish nickname for him, even though it doesn’t bother him it still means something that I looked into him with some kind of depth.
Basically if you want flied, call the “lord of the flies”, if you want the Lord without the fake flies, call “the lord of all that soars”.
I wasn’t too bothered by it, I just wondered if it was because of Beelzebub. But in the future, if I start getting bothered by it, I will try to work with him as Ba’al Zebul.
Do it however you want to do it, His sigil is the right one regardless of the insertion of the “flies” overlay added in modern interpretations, as far as I can tell, and they’re the same being.

I didn’t disbelieve nor believe the fly thing until it happened to me. The first time I heard about it, I think was in the New Avatar Power book or user’s of that book that had flies my mysteriously appear in a high level apartment floor.
Anyway, it happened to me a few months ago and I didn’t even do anything. I merely read a curse book. The whole book was basically one curse for insomnia and for the first time ever, I had insomnia and could not sleep at all. The next day I bought cheap sleeping pills which helped me to finally sleep, but also that afternoon, there were several giant horseflies in my home. I don’t know how they all got in or out. It was horrible and made me even more disgruntled and paranoid.
I don’t remember banishing that day, although I probably did banish.
