I am looking for manuals books courses etc. that have the same level of organization simplicity and thought placed into them as BALG products, but since there are no RHP courses and by RHP i mean practicality not dogma and ethics, i need to find that part of my magickal works elsewhere?
For example: books focusing on full initiation into qabalah and angelolatry etc. but in a practical no nonsense no fluff updated for the modern magician no ethics non dogmatic way
As far as I know, BALG was the first attempt at such a thing and it remains their differentiator.
For kabbalah in particular, Jewish mysticism is thousands of years in the making and highly steeped in a rich tapestry of complex history, religion-politics and the evolution of the people and the faith itself, from Canaanite pre-Israelite polytheistic religions through to todayâs 3 versions of kabbalah. Thereâs no such thing as simple kabbalah. Thatâs like asking for simple quantum physics.
To strip away itâs complexity would be what E.A. did, and then itâs not kabbalah any more.
RHP doesnât mean âdogmaâ - thereâs shit tons of dogma in the LHP too, stuff that sees RHP dogma, says âhold my beerâ and raises it tenfold into pure LARP. Check out âvampire bloodlinesâ and the shit that comes put of anime if you want a giggle.
Right Hand Path just means at one level âservice to others over service to selfâ, and at another that the ego is âbadâ.
I think some areas of Lightwork can get you the least fluffy info on whatâs real.
But if you want to get at the heart of everything - learn high energy physics and energy working like qigong, everything boils down to those.
do you have any rhp book reccomendations? also what type or form of qigong would you suggest? I like to listen to short documentaries on quantum physics before i go to sleep it is interesting how shiva is at CERN
UmmâŚevery book on the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn system fits that description: Konstantinosâ Summoning Spirits, Golden Dawn Magic by Chic Cicero, Self-Initiation into the Golden Dawn Tradition by Chic Cicero, Modern Magick by Donald Michael Craig, High Magick I & II by Frater U.D.
I find that many such books are complex and need to be simplified for me, i can only think of one for the golden dawn material that may suit me which is Greereâs remaster of israel regardies book because of its illustrations and how it seems to be structured.
Donât know how you manage to listen to waveform calculations but ok.
Not really. It has nothing to DO with quantum physics. Thatâs bullshit human politics, and irrelevant. So I donât know what youâre hearing but maybe look at actual principles of physics. Why did Einstein say âgod doesnât play diceâ and why was he wrong?
Iâm not a fan of the Golden Dawn but they do have complete courses. I donât think theyâre bullshit-free myself which is why I never finished them. But then, as I never finished them who am I to say?
In the end, what you seek isnât in a book. It has to be experienced and you just use the books to get you into meditating to find out. Experience is the only way to find out whatâs real for you and what works for you - thereâs no one size fits all and no Truthâ˘.
If you never learn to heal your mind enough to meditate, the armchair stuff is probably as far as youâll get from a mystical perspective. You can still do magick, but will probably need to rely more on low magick like witchcraft and sympathetic magick to get things done.
Hereâs the thing - this is not like school where they teach you to sit down, shut up, swallow the curriculum without question and get the expected answers to questions ârightâ - itâs much more freeform and you have to relearn how to learn and do your own research.
You will have to learn more than you need, compare and distill the parts that work for you out of that mess.
Please read the linked article in this post - it will really help your mindset for this work:
thank you for the insight, basically it is my journey and my tools to craft out of many, books are just for adding tools if its a good enough book, i must create my own system and become my own living god
I find itâs a bit like music albums. You might only get one great song out of an album, and the rest youâre not that into, but that one gem ends up being one of your all-time faves.
Sephiroth = Tree of light - self development through positivity and working with who you want to be
Qlipphot = Tree of death - self development through shadow work and understanding your dark side, and why you struggle
Based on basic descriptions i just read, Ill tell you whatâs interesting to me: how kabbalah and qlippah is in creative works of modern society for example call of duty modern warfare 3 zombies and its main storyline and the main games, it has so many aspects in it of qlippothic concepts and an entire open world of it that its mind blowing how people dont know any of this, the concept of dark aether tools and powers is what made me consider the qlippoth although i havent gotten very deep at all yet and Iâm seeking to do it with kabbalah to balance it however lilith is very appealing and i cannot wait to get book 1 of the world domination series in the mail. Another example put simply is how these concepts are in what large corperations do a simple one is fast food and the concept of endless consumption, endless sexual promiscuity in every aspect of culture physical and digital almost, and false spirituality with rediculous concepts and dogma taking over everyone thinks they are a psychic just because they have a deck of tarot cards and a bunch of crystals and stuff.
I start to question how much of this world is actually malkuth and how much contains the qlippothic aspects.
Lastly in peoples dream experiences more leaning towards the shadow of yesod but people not gaining any insight or power from it.
This is very true, i was doing this type of shadow work without knowing i was, i have quit drinking smoking vaping cannabis and kratom, i think that dream i mentioned about the decorated labyrinth and the blue liquer shattering is an aspect of this, the dragon may be my first taste of satariels eye mentioned in book 2
edit: I find greereâs golden dawn book to be so enjoyable not just due to how it is worded and structured but also the fact it is a partial picture book
