I noticed in myself a very vicious movement when I saw one of those inflammatory political posts. I thought it was weird because I been apolitical for several years now and have basically cut all that content from my feeds. Obviously it’s unavoidable but I’ve done fairly well.
It was weird because as soon as I saw it I became intensely angry, and I wanted to viciously retort the post, and I felt a kind of pressure in my teeth like I wanted to grind them or tear flesh by tooth and claw. Later, I was thinking about how weird that was. It almost felt like that feeling was being drawn out of me, or evoked from within me by something else. I know it isn’t just me either, that whole sphere of things is a constant flame war. I was thinking about how unnatural it must be to be so full of that hate all the time, and how so many people seem enthralled by that cycle of the socio-political flame war. While I was thinking about it, I entered a kind of trance, and I almost felt like I was following a line, or smoke trail deeper into the current. In my rambling I realized that there may be a spirit entity or conglomerate spirit entity behind all that. It seemed too strong a reaction to just be mine, and there’s no way everyone just wants to be that way either.
I thought I felt it’s name, something like “malefic”, or “maladapted”. I finally landed on “Maeleth”. My heart hurts as I write that too…
Anyway, a friend did a banishing on me to help me out. This was several weeks ago.
More recently I was thinking about doing a summoning of Rudlós (the PIE reconstructed hunter god). And for some reason just on intoning the name during meditation, I got some strange imagery. First I got something like the shadow of a dragon, followed by an image of its face. It had a long neck and skin rather than scales. It had a blunt and round face, slit nostrils, wide black eyes and teeth like an alligator (with no lips I mean). It seemed to be grey-green and I got the feeling that it was kind of sickening or fearful. This image was followed by more standard Hunter God imagery: hairy man, loin cloth, animal skin hat with antlers.
I don’t like to impose moral judgements on the things I see and so I just thought it was trying to give off the idea of being terrifying, which makes sense. The dark woods are scary. He is the bloody one of the woods. However upon bringing this up to some of my friends, some of whom have shown themselves to be good sensitives, they became very worried and seemed to think I had encountered some very ancient evil. Something “black and green”, a “cancerous rot”. They said it was something that, if awakened, would cause much death and sickness and travel by river. A tarot reading, coin reading, and direct asking of spirit guides all seemed to say the same things.
Anyway, it was no big deal for me to not move forward with a Rudlós summoning and just try one of the other reconstructed names of a different god.
The point of all this is to ask if this seems to mean anything to anyone. Does anyone have any insight on this? Do these two things seem to be referencing the same thing?
