Enlil and "the devil"?

Is it possible that Enlil is impersonating the devil?

I moved this as it’s not related the the topic it was on, … unless… some entity claiming to be Enlil asked you to sell it your soul?

No, Enlil is a Sumerian Annunaki predating JCI religions by thousands of years, and the concept of “the devil” is a modern construct.

When you want to know the origin of a word in English I recommend googling it with the word “etymology”, which will help you find out what culture and time period these things came from.

Parasites on he other hand use any word they can read from your mind to scare, wheedle or otherwise convince you to give it power over you, because they have none if you don’t. Claiming to be big names entities is a favorite tactic, and complete bullshit - parasites always lie, on that you can rely.

As such, if you want to call a parasite “a devil” which fits general usage, then it’s the other way around, the devil could impersonate Enlil.

It’s also arguable from the myths that Enlil wasn’t a fan of humans and if you use a Christian-based worldview, you could call him a devil as an epithet based on that.
