Do you ever think maybe going to church and being religious is better than all this?

Disclaimer: I’m a broke ass upper fifties guy who is single, has gone to almost every church denomination you know, live in a nursing home, formerly homeless.

But I’m a magician. Without a solid house and home. No license. Several things affecting my health as a “normal” person.

So … how and why?

No Meditation or scarce scheduled and met meditations. No training. No daily rituals met.

Disorders or diseases:. Guilliam Beree Syndrome. Schizophrenia. To name a few.

Yet … my basic needs are met through ACA, SSDI, and state aid.

Do I want more? Yes, but I’m … complicated.

Do churches help? Sometimes. Not much different than with magic.

Isn’t that why we’re all here?

No, I think what is not being acknowledged, is the egregore within and behind churches.

An egregore is a group of people that all think along the same line of a matter, and join each other in rituals such as prayer.

Another thing is the common wealth of most of the congregation, there will always be some who are poor, but it’s made up for them in other ways, such as internal peace.
