I might put it a different way. You see, judgement of whether something is evil or good is subjective - it depends where the judge is standing - if a thing helps thier goals or agrees with their values, it’s good, if not it’s bad.
An enlightened being transcends judgement and uses discernment, getting out of duality, out of the ‘them vs us’ mindset and understands the flows of energy that lead people into judgement.
As far as the universe goes, I don’t see it as acting as much as being the stage that the actors play out thier goals in.
Death is not really a thing - it’s just a transition between different kinds of being alive. It’s also not bad or good, and life isn’t bad or good. These are tools that allow the ‘players’ to change to and act in different scenes.
I don’t know what a ‘True God’ is, so I can’t comment on that.
