I want to ask Beelzebub to enhance divination to talk other spirits I also wanted to start with freya?
Opinions please thank you.
The Norse Gods usually keep to themselves besides their Celtic pantheon cousins. However, from my experience they have no issue with the infernal nation pantheon (I can’t say gods because I don’t believe the infernal nation are gods but point still stands)
A lot of people on here were working with Odin, Belial, and Raphael either at once or within a very short time period, around 2015 I think it was.
Hmm Interesting
Of the Aesir Gods I only really work with Odin, ( Loki being a Thurs). I also have worked much with Thurses. I havent had issues.
Technically Loki is a Aesir and Jotun mix like Odin.
Freyja did learn black magick from Gulveig as well. I could imagine working with Thor would certainly be tough working alongside demons.
You have a source for that? My readings of the Eddas as well as the works of Ekortu, his studies on the genealogy of the Gods and Thurs suggest that Loki is purely Thurs. I will say most are not aware of Odin’s mixed origins
Loki was brought into the fold of the aesir because of the ‘blood pact’ he had made with odin. I don’t know of any other source that might suggest he had any aesir connections
I don’t follow the Eddas 100% I’ve read them but I’ve also experienced contradictions in it with my experiences with Odin, Loki, and Honeir. Farbauti/Cruel striker there was a myth he struck Laufey for being disloyal (aka loki’s birth) then Loki is often times linked to Ve and Hoenir to Vili. Vili and Ve were half jotun half Aesir just as Odin. So if these connections were legitimate/are legitimate it does confirm a few things on their genealogy and loki’s actual place among the norse Gods.
Ive never heard that angle but I will try digging in the direction and see what I can find. Thanks. This stuff is inherently messy and contradictory. The biggest of strengths and the biggest of weaknesses that these were never really written down ha. Probably why I’m not really the scholarly historian type… I want to say working with the runes in practice is much easier than tracing logical lines through the myths, but if I’m being honest the Futhark vs Uthark keeps me up at night hahaha. Cheers
I do a lot of work with Hel, she is amazing.
Norse mythology is the messiest I’ve come to find I agree with you there lol. When I first got into it I wanted to quit a few times lmao. Atleast until I started mixing it into my practices to see what aligns with mythology and what contradicts but makes a bit more sense lol.
I am sure people get tired of me saying this, but I was a heathen for 15 years prior to working with demons, and I will always have the valknut engraved in my flesh. And it was Odin that told me that working with the Infernal was the next step for me to reach my potential. So I would say no, there is no problem there. I have even made the argument numerous times on how Heathenry is inherently a Left Hand Path faith.
I agree with you there. The poems prove it too.
I just finished a working that included Odin, Thor and Freya, along with Orobas, Bime, King Paimon and others from the Goetia, Pazuzu, Lucifer, Santa Muerte, Bethor and the Olympian spirits, Kali Ma, Ganesha, and others from Hindu/eastern background, Hecate, Ishtar, Nitika and other Genius spirits, Archangels, Shem Angels, Papa Legba, Ogun, Dantor, Bondye, Saint Expedite, Blackhawk, Jesus, and more. I didn’t feel any conflict going on at the time and the experience was pleasant.
Most spirits are capable of working together but that doesn’t inherently mean that they get along. For example, Azazel absolutely despises Raphael but will put things aside if it is in the best interest of the practitioner.
The Norse from my personal experience don’t inherently get along or agree with the Infernal but they will work with them if it is needed. If I were to be honest, Odin would rather work with spirits within his own pantheon compared to the latter.
Yes I remember when I called Gabriel while I was working with belial and Gabriel completely pushed out belial
I was like wheres belial? But when I called them both again it was fine but I felt alot of tension, Like two little girls angry in the room. Lol, best way I can put it. No offence to them.
That makes sense lol. I find some Gods do tolerate the infernal demons pantheon and the abrahamic angels but some also do form personal bonds with one another but others just aren’t so fond, but that’s to be expected and kinda normal even with humans and other nonhuman beings/groups. Just as the Infernal demons tolerate the abrahamic angels and vice versa, some may go on to like/form personal bonds however as times can change.
