Hope this is the right group. The question is on Demon hierarchies. I am being given two thoughts. Mike Bee once told me that in hell there are frequent wars that occur, and as such, to the victor goes a title, so titles may or may not be true for a demon in question.
The thought train is further complicated per Sarah Connelly, and hierarchies are more or less unchanging bloodlines of demons and spirits, including arch demons and (true) bloodline rulers.
So, the question is is do the hierarchies or demons (or spirits) get promoted or demoted often, and if so, if it affects your working with them as a patron demon or the like?
I would agree - as above, so below - the entities we interact with seem to - often but not always - part of a larger structured organization, and that can frequently be militaristic.
As on Earth, (as it is in “heaven”) it’s rare to be demoted, but careers progress as skills are gained and the situation demands. I do think they operate on much longer timescales, probably because their careers aren’t short like ours owing to our piddly lifespans.
Overall there’s large numbers of entities that are no longer in the mix but humans, and I cannot emphasize enough, are creator beings, have created egregores of them and can still access their attributes through these, same as talking to shades of the dead who have long gone. This makes for a steady and unwavering presence in human collective unconscious.
Absolutely not. Because our own creativity and massive ability to adapt works around it.
