Hey guys, one quick important question: anyone working with Dansiation? Is this Dantalion? In the book of treasure spirits the invocations of Lucifer, Beelzebub, Sathan and Dansiation are leitmotives.
It does look like very likely another name for, or misspelling of Dantalion. When books were hand copied the handwriting wasn’t always super clear. And "s"es used to be written with a character that looked more like an “f” - it’s a long “s” that became unused because it was too much trouble for printing presses to bother with, (as was the “th” symbol that looked like a y ) less effort to use fewer characters, as these were placed by hand one by one originally.
And after that I think an f would be easily mistaken for a t, and an l mistaken for a t.
Hence, Danfalion (long s) → Dansalion → Dansation.
And Ye Olde Cafe was pronounced The Old Cafe not with the modern Y sound.

Excellent research!!! The work is a breath of fresh air! Dantalion as one of the most important Spirits of Goetia but this grimoire goes further and gives Dantalion indeed cardinal recognition. In the planetary system has a very important role too. That’s so totally cool
