Has anyone heard of Damien Mulkrin, which is most likely a pen name, I thought I saw a posting about him a time ago. I have tried searching but to no avail.
He is reputed to be a famed sorcerer, occultist and underground author living in California who wrote a book titled “ When bad things happen to bad people “ where he suggests that much of what he terms “theatricals” in magick are unnecessary as the power of intent will provide and almost anyone can cast spells.
I’ve never heard of him before now. That said I tend to practice a very stripped down version of magik, ie no robes. That’s just me.
I followed the link in the only post where someone answered, and the answer was ‘never heard of him’.
The link has a very simplified curse. IME, it’s not going to work, for the only reason that it doesn’t tell you how to connect into your power before you start. Someone naturally talented might be fine, but they might be doing this by accident and intuition anyway. Someone with the skills to edit this into an existing framework would do fine, but then, they wouldn’t need this info, it’s that dumbed down it’s almost useless.
