They just need developing, and yes, using crystal can help you develop them, make them larger with more energy, help balance them and remove unwanted energy.
It’s a good idea to add your attention and intention into the process. Energy follows mind, as a fundamental rule of energy work, so if you don’t put your mind to it, nothing much will happen by itself.
