When I study samsara it seems to me it’s the karmic energy that causes the cycle of rebirth and not because we have a personal soul, so what magical work can be done to achieve immortality of the Self so it’s no longer the karma that rules the rebirth but the power of the Self?

I don’t believe in Karma so that doesn’t make sense to me. But you can use Kali or Kuan Yin to free you from this concept and Samsara.
Karmic is a very broad term because there’s multiple types of karmas and it’s not intrinsically bad, there’s even karma which ensures you get to experience what you chose to experience among other things. All of it is due to your soul, the soul can’t be limited by karmic energy. If you as a soul choose not to come back then that’s that, and if you do choose to come back to experience something then part of karma is there to ensure you get that experience.
Karma is the cause of the cycle of rebirth. I see no evidence for a personal soul, so I seek ways to achieve immortality of the Self so I can rebirth where and when based on will.
If i remember correctly in a section of BALG’s soul travel course it discusses that at a certain level of development throughout the course, the individual can enter Yama’s Halls. Remove their name from his book and reclaim autonomy of their own spirit rather than be recycled.

That’s a really reductive and dismissive take, I understand your point but the paradigms you’re using to support it are far more complex than that.
But if you just want immortality of the self, there’s many paths to that outcome, all require years of dedication. There’s Qigong which @Mulberry has a lot of posts about, there’s the Kundalini route and a lot of others. The main thing you’re aiming to do, simplified, is to allow your qi/etheric/pranic (or whatever you want to call it) body to persist long after your physical body. Karma has nothing to do with it.

Well I’m skilled in vampirism when it comes to energy work.
Vampirism is a tiny subset of energy work and most “vampires” completely misunderstand what they’re actually doing.
If they did understand they wouldn’t be doing it, because it’s dangerous while there are FAR better ways to cultivate qi.
I’ve been explaining this for years. If tut want to do energy working, learn energy working. It’s worth it.
It was trendy a couple of years ago, but it’s didn’t remain popular because it’s just not that great as a technique. It’s adaptable to baneful efforts and that’s really where it’s utility lies.

Which is nonsense, it’s the opposite. Humans have pituful amounts of energy compared to the cosmos.

That argument holds up for about as long as the practitioner is unaware of the kundalini and qi gong, among other things.
Are you saying they can drain from cosmos to keep the Self intact after the corporeal body cease to function?
Cultivate. That’s the beauty of it, the energy is the cosmos is so vast, every person on the planet siphoning as much and as fast as they could handle, all at the same time could not make a tiny dent in it’s abundance. And it’s completely clean and balanced and doesn’t need “filtering”.
Real vampires like Michelle Belanger CAN’T do this, that’s why they’re vampires, everybody else is being silly, usually because “they’re a predator” or something larpy like that. But they’re only hurting themselves in the end.

Cleaning and balancing does not lead to immortality of the Self. I think you confuse the Self with spirit.
I didn’t say anything about either of those. I said “cultivate”.

In Zhuan Falun it is said that the gong column of spiritual energy, when it reaches a sufficiently high level, such a person transcends the Three Realms and is free from cyclic existence.
I’m not sure how it really is, I only know what God says and I know that the law of karma is what God has taught to enlightened ones and prophets of all times.
I know for a fact that it is absolutely impossible for there to be no beings who are concerned with maintaining the law, just as there is on the plane of humans “as in heaven, so on earth”
In my opinion, there are two possibilities for freedom from reincarnation, one is cultivation to a high spiritual domain and oneness with God, or being so evil, loving evil so much, that such a being shows no promise of improvement, does not want to change himself for the better, and must meet with infinite retribution.
If there is good, there has to be bad.
It is difficult to distinguish between the two.
Human beings therefore must come to Me

In my opinion, a person should not approach anything in extremes.
Extremes lead to deviation and are far from Tao, so incorrect.
Be resourceful, rich, healthy, there are many opportunities to develop yourself to raise your own level not only through meditation.
Life requires wisdom and this is the highest among human virtues.
If a person walks firmly on the ground and cultivates his body and spirit and mind, I think that the combination of these three things is the best for him and he is able to achieve Dharma, Kama, Artha and Moksha.
Victory in this life and after death.
I would also like to add that in my opinion, raising one’s own level is based on virtues and each can be cultivated.
For us who cultivate ourselves, virtue is not some philosophical concept but is more material than a piece of iron held in the hand.

Many preachers deceive others without even knowing it, they say something that seems right, but they do the opposite.
If they told the truth they would follow it, they are extreme so they turn to extremes.
They destroy others and themselves.
It is often the case that due to lack of wisdom, addiction, patience, endurance, health, skills of spiritual power.
A human being is subjected to fear, depression, toxic relationships, lack of hope, diseases of the body and mind, which is why they cannot move in the right direction to improve or change their own fate. Sometimes moving one element can move all the others like in a planetary gear, but at the same time relying on spiritual power is not enough because a person is a combination of body, spirit and mind and additionally must have wisdom of life, this is a difficult topic that I am delving into and I do not yet have enough knowledge.
Putting everything together, finding the right patterns, keys simple enough to cultivate on a daily basis is a big task.
Perhaps on the one hand what I said is right but may not be understood, this is the reason why my post may seem chaotic, everyone is different, born in different conditions with different talents or diseases, but it is easier said than done. Maybe in the future I will be able to say something more.
If getting out of cycle of rebirth means that I cannot reincarnate myself to experience the wonders of the carnal world it does not interest me.
And who said you can’t? You’d be a powerful being. Maybe you just don’t have to?
Maybe a part of your consciousness reincarnates, so your being is safe.
That’s what my gnosis tells me.
That’s freedom. Not the fate of a slave.
But will you really want that? I am not able to answer.
