I’ve had various dreams with him in it. An older one being I had some kind of collar and chain on while living, and after dying I began to become a demon myself and was appointed the leader of a group people like me.
More recently its been dreams of poltergeist activity but something in me still knows its Baphomet causing the commotion in my dreams.
Could this be his way of trying to contact me or am I dumb?
I think the reason why no one has answered is due to the fact that there are already a variety of stories and experiences in here of such, which you can read about with just a click of the Search function on top. If you have time, maybe you can try to study and learn from those previous posts? 
All those previous posts with a similar theme to yours (constantly seeing, dreaming or sensing so-and-so from a certain entity) point to a huge YES: yes, they are trying to contact you. Yes, they are trying to get your attention. The reason behind it, however, is something you have to find out for yourself by responding back. If not interested, still respond, sure, but politely and honestly decline.
