I have a question: if I use candles for my protection and I have enough wax left over, can I make a new candle to use for the same purpose of protection?
USUALLY it’s reccomended that
- When burning a candle you burn it to completion until there’s no possibility of relight
- Complete or not you shouldn’t use a candle for a different/a new purpose
If you just mean there’s some remaining wax you don’t wanna waste, I reccomend more breaking it up and putting it in a small bottle or satchet you can carry around and have the wax be an ingredient as a protective agent.
That’s not a bad idea with those satchet, okay, I’ll use it like this ,thank
Personally I always save candle stubs and reuse them. I have been making my own candles for 30 years and it’s never been an issue.
You can easily cleanse the wax if you intuitively feel the need. Place your dominant hand over the wax, in a pile or in the pot, doesn’t matter, and visualize energy from the palm of your hand sweeping down through it into the ground, taking any unwanted energy with it. The Earth will recycle that energy naturally.
In any case, rely on your own experience - what works for me might not work the same way for you, and maybe it depends what you were doing with that wax. How you feel about it matters. Sounds like you want to reuse it and in that case I’d say go with what you want to do.
I clean candles with incense but it’s not a bad idea, I’m thinking about it because I have a lot of wax left from these candles but I’ll think about it, anyway thanks for the advice
