Can you meet deceased pets in the astral?

I’m learning how to astral project and I was wondering if It’s possible to meet with a pet who has died even if some years have passed after their death. Does their soul stick around? I know others have seen their living cats in the astral plane so it’s possible for animals to astral project too. But can they do it after death? Does any of you have any experience with this?

I’ve met my cats as long as it was fairly soon after they passed, but they seemed to move on fairly quickly and not cling like humans do. Like, within a few months at most.

You can visit them at different timelines though, by intending that you visit a time when they were still In the astral. That way you are less likely to get either a copy that you made like a thoughtform, or an attention seeking impostor.

I’ve wondered this before as well. What if you have a link to them? Like some fur or something? Would it be possible to evoke them or call them to you with the link?

I personally don’t think so, but my woldview would be getting in the way here. To be fair I’m working off theories and can’t say the structure I currently use is correct… I’m quite sure there’s plenty of people who tried it, and had a great conversation and felt they got the original, and maybe they did. Just because I don’t understand how doesn’t mean much

I have a current “working theory” that beings like humans and cats are a symbiotic combination of a new spirit as the animal, plus a sort of possession by a higher being. The vibrations of the higher being help the new spirit develop quickly to become sovereign and sustainable after death to incarnate itself as a higher being, while the posessing higher being is gaining experience. I like to think the animals are not only a king of sentient biosuit that’s discarded like the Greys use, that seems wasteful to me.

So if that pans out as model, theres every chance the cat personality is now working on getting more experience itself, maybe by doing that same thing for another new cat or something else.

In that Case I don’t know what effect summoning it would have. E.A. Says he feels spacey if people summon Achaelus, but Archaelys is very old and advanced. I’m not sure what effect it would have on a baby spirit, as it were and if it could cause problems.

I would kill to find a book about a cat who reincarnates and several lives down the line, finds out he was originally a cat, unlocks his memories and then tries to link up with the grandchild of his past owner who treated him well.

Honestly though, i resonate with your working theory. It makes sense and I can see it in some ways. One day I’ll call a pet who has passed and see how it goes. Maybe they’ll be onto their next life and that’s why I won’t be able to reach them.

I actually like that idea.

Yep, I’ve met some of mine. Even ones that were buried in the same yard I lived in but they were not my pets!

I have mused about whether this can explain cat-kin, that is otherkin who identify as cats very strongly. But prior to this aspect of my theories developing I merely speculated that they had a fairly recent past life or in between as whatever they identified as. I myself identified as faekin for a short while based on vague past life recall as some sort of unseelie forest fae.

It was super unhealthy as I bagen to really hate humans and see them as foreign and evil… I was probably starting to do a bit nuts and so I got a grip and left that be. So my take is that while some past lives can change your energy and do inform or “have bleedthrough” into other lives, it’s good to keep a lot of perspective and control your energy to play this game.

That was a good 20 years ago now and I’ve since given up seeing these as particularly special and identifying with them as a distraction. Discounting the time stream we have enough time to be thousands of things, and we’ve all been/are everyone at some level. But that could be wrong if time matters and you can only remember back chronologically to a fairly recent origin for sure.

I think it is possible, though I personally have not met any of mine. However, @anon97554939 has mentioned to me that her kitty Atropos has a kitty friend who astrally visits her so I don’t see why a deceased pet couldn’t do the same. Kitties seem pretty adept at astral shenanigans.

I’ll try visiting the field where she was buried once I learn how to exit my body.

The animal I want to meet is a dog, not a cat. She might have stuck around a guardian because she was very protective when she was alive. But I’ll try the different timelines I didn’t know you could do that with astral projection.

My Yorkie came to me a lot right after she passed away. As I healed from her loss she crossed all the way over. My son’s cat that passed away a new months ago still hangs around but that’s because his twin brother is still here and my black cat is very much able to travel so I think he brings him back with him. I’ve gone to a dolphin I worked with as a volunteer that passed but that was soon after she passed. I’m just really connected with animals so I will see, be visited by and pass by all kinds of random animals in my travels when I do soul travel.

I think it will vary by pet, Atropos makes window friends with the neighbor cats, then when I get out of body I’ll see she is snuggled into one of them on the bed, they can tell me their names and answer questions.

But my daughter had a cat die a few years ago, before I was very good at any of this, and Lady_Eva said he did not want to stay as a guide and that to try to reach him would hinder his ability to move on, his next life was just around the corner.

I definitely don’t understand it all, but the animals I’ve come across consider themselves just like us, many think of themselves as a type of people, they are not unaware, many are able to do things like project that we struggle to do, consider themselves basically a different race, they understand us quite well and many want to help human as they see us as high risk for extinction. Others seem to think the world would be better without humans- that surprised me.

So who knows. Upg ya know, it’s weird so I don’t speak on it because I’m constantly trying to verify this and verify that, what questions can I ask to be sure I understand, how can I determine if my cats telling me the truth or if it’s just her opinion… etc

I guess it’s a side quest of mine, visiting the different animal people and learning and listening to what they say, it’s triggered my curiosity at the least.

This actually really doesn’t surprise me. Some animals I.e dogs and cats and horses in particular seem to be more helpers.
