There’s a funeral home directly behind my apartment. The part that’s directly behind my apartment is the place where they do drop offs and where the mortician does what they usually do.
I didn’t notice that’s what was behind me until I accidentally stumbled across it being nosey on Snapchat.
So what I’m trying to say is this, can being close to such a thing cause my experiences to be amplified and for me to be more sensitive than usual?
Well. You might have more encounters with the dead, but unless you are unintentionally tapping into them and drawing their energy to you, probably not any more so than any of us living on grounds where ancient battles took place or that were used for burial grounds or otherwise haunted like areas.
Being around spirits more and summoning more does seem to help you develop your senses more, but different types of spirits seem to take a different side of the sense and will sometimes be harder to sense anyways.
For example I never had trouble seeing dead things, but angels and demons? Couldn’t prove to me they existed for a very long time- except I’d get results in the long run from the workings I did.
So it might help you some with the dead and ancestors and the like, but it may or may not make any overall difference.
It could be an opportunity too though, for you to learn to work with the dead and those that need a little extra help after death. So it could be a potential something with some intention.
Experiences, yes, but gifts… it depends solely on you. Until recently, I lived near a settlement where people of Roma nationality lived. We knew that they practiced magic from house to house, and the energy during their rituals was quite different, no matter how much I cleaned or filtered. Later, I learned to harness it for my own benefit. Soon after, the woman living below me passed away, and that only intensified the occurrences and the speed of manifestation to an even higher level.
Experience has taught me that there are certain currents and points where the land or a place is charged with more or less energy, which can either work in our favor or against us. And funeral homes are definitely one of them!
However, it’s important to proceed with caution and take things slowly. Experiments can create wonders!
