I know burning sigils created on your own is a good way to activate them, but i’ve been curious about the effects of burning a planetary symbol, planetary kamea, or spirit (angel, genius, olympic) sigil or seal. I’ve honestly even contemplated burning a psalm to activate/empower it. Could that have the same activating effect or is it seen as disrespectful?
The burning isn’t how you activate them, as much as doing the sigil gazing - this activates or “opens” them. Then you do the manifestation work, visualizing etc, and THEN you burn it to release the working into spirit.
Fire is one of the gateways to spirit. Another is water so you can also let the sigil flow away on a river.
Same - you do the work first, then you release your intention into spirit via the gateway of fire.
