Yes, that’s not a problem.

Yes, that’s fine. The only reason black is usually recommended is because you do not want any light reflected in the water when yo’re scrying, as that would obscure your vision, and the easiest way to do that is with a black bowl.

Copper vessels are standard for scrying in Balkan witchcraft and are mentioned in the PGM. Black bowls aren’t necessary at all 
Yeah, besides obsidian there is a material which I don’t remember whether it’s brass or copper which is indeed the epitome (for example, the same one used by Nostradamus).
