The Silva Method is also a good one. Even though it is geared toward optimal learning/education, the techniques are from NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming) and meditation.
As I mentioned, any book on NLP techniques is helpful. In fact, the creators of NLP got their techniques from studying Ericksonian hypnosis, shamanism, religions, and the occult. Even the Scientologists claimed that they stole their information and repackaged it as NLP.
