Berith for Learning Things

I was looking for a spirit to help in getting better at financial math, business insights, and social communication/charm. I learned about Berith who is said to turn all metals to gold. From my experience, this essentially means to refine certain qualities of yourself which are necessary for growth.

Do you know Berith to bring more wittiness or skill in these things?

I think Bune or Belial would fit better what you’re seeking.

Bune did cross my mind too. The Pseudomonarchia Daemonium says Bune “greatly enricheth a man, making him eloquent and wise”. In this case, enricheth means to enrich a man’s qualities and character, also make him more perceptive. I’m not sure if this translates to refining skillets tho. I can explore this further with him tho.

Good idea, thanks. :+1:

I would also suggest Clauneck for this, as he helps with wealth of all kinds.

The learning of skills is where I am focused. Financial literacy requires knowledge of the subject as well. I have thought of Haagenti before, to become more knowledgeable, skilled, and wise in this financial profession. I’ve also thought of Marax for this.

That’s what I mean - a wealth of knowledge is what you wish? Clauneck helps one develop TRUE wealth, of ALL kinds - you can take they very literally.

Wealth is much more than just material gain. It’s an abundance of health, happiness and joy, it’s knowledge turned to wisdom, it’s spiritual efforts turned to ascension.

Recall that Grimorium Verum, the grimoire from which Clauneck is listed, apparently written in 1517, uses the meaning of “wealth” current of the day..: in those days was more holistic than it s used today:

Yeah, I also remember the Grimorium Verum saying he “also imparts the wisdom to obtain wealth.” Whether this references studying a profession, or bringing ability to communicate sales and wares, I’m not sure. Maybe both

@Mulberry Also, do you think Berith is efficient at cursing people? I’ve heard such, but I’m wondering about your experience.

For that the best entity imo is Hermes, god of merchants.

I call much nastier entities for curses, I have not tried Berith for anything baneful.

Who would you say helped the best to spiritually attack others?

Hands down, THE BOY from Sorceress Cagliastro’s 29 Deadly Sigils.

THE BOY (his name is spelled that way for reasons given in the book) is a Daemon from the Hockomock Swamp in the South of the USA, and the creation and personification of historical sorrow, injustice, abandonment and cruelty to the innocent seeped into the land there. He is amazing at vengeance and retribution.

Interesting. There’s a smug mfer at my job I want to get fired, so his lifestyle falls apart.

@Mulberry Idk if there’s someone of your experience could recommend for that?

No, I work differently, and leave the options open to solve problems

If you just need him out of your sphere, then trying to make “his life fall apart” drastically reduces the paths to manifestation and makes the working much harder for no real benefit.

I would use the Angels of Wrath Exile working, and let how that occurs to be up to him and his relationship with the universe. If he gets his dream job and has to move out of state that also works for me, as long as he’s out of my way.

@Mulberry Good resources. Thanks.

I also have heard of Vassago being a really destructive spirit, other than when he kindly deals with the magician. He uses the black moon, or emotional pain to spark quarrels. There’s also Agares for making someone lose their position/dignities in society. I’ve had Malphas and Andras get a coworker fired, but that was not from a full ritual. Any others from the Goetia you found effective?

No I don’t have a lot of need for it. As I said I look for the core problem I need to solve, and being super salty and butthurt isn’t one of them.

If I want to get into death workings I call death gods, such as Mot, The Morrighan, Ereshkigal, Ahriman, Djinn… and most often, just me.

@Mulberry There would be no consequences imposed on people if there was no salty butthurt involved in anything. So I’ll use methods that have already worked. Thanks.

I bought this book after reading your recommendations for it. I hope you don’t mind if I ask you two questions about it. Do you think it’s necessary to burn the sigil at your altar, or do you think it’s fine to go outside to burn it when it is time to? I’m unable to have an outdoor altar and I don’t feel comfortable burning the paper inside my apartment.

Also, when time to spit on the sigil, it’s said that the biological must be “most suited to the action.” Would this mean that if you wanted to bring guilt to the target, I would be calling on the specific taste of guilt to spit on that sigil?

I’ve emailed Sorceress these questions directly but not super confident whether I’ll receive a response. I’d be very grateful for any insights you may have after working with this book over the years.

Hmn, Sorceress Cagliastro’s technique in the 39 Deadly Sigils book is very exact. I would go ahead and keep the sigil rolled up in the effigy until I could complete the ritual, and set my intention that that makes it work all the more, like it’s marinating.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there manifestation didn’t start properly until the sigil was finally burned though. The fire is the fastest that releases the built-up energy to spirit.

I would expect the Sorceress would say the working should be done as written or not at all, I’m just one who will experiment with how I can edit things and make them work to suit me.

Yes, imagine the guilt to imbue the spit with that energy. It may get taxes off hormones too, and the electronagnetic signature of the emotion to add to the working.

Correction: would go ahead and try, not wouldn’t. Phone typo.
