[ASTARTE / AASTAROTH] Another strange dream

I warn you, it’s quite exceptional, I hope you can tell me what you think about it.

I had a dream, which I explained here where I talked about having had contact with Asmodeus. I notice that very often entities like to appear in our dreams when our clairvoyance / clairaudience abilities are not yet sufficient, like me currently, although I am working on it.

A short time ago, I did a ritual involving the goddess Astarte. Very funny thing, the ritual involved a candle and this one had not finished burning when I had done the ritual, I decided to relight it yesterday, waiting for it to be completely finished (it is 95% finished this morning), I did some small household chores and went to bed.

And there, really crazy dream. You should know that I had burned a paper artifact used for the ritual in a very large park, which is more of a plain, before putting the ashes back in the wind. And in this dream, I am in this park and I see from behind a very tall woman on a very large horse, next to her a very large dog. Except that she was like “freeze”, the image was brown and she was not moving, but I was scared xddd and I ran.

I remember hearing the sound of hooves chasing me, she did not catch me, but then I saw her from the front, she was on her horse, white, with a very large white dog, who was very calm next to her. She was looking at me and growling at me, literally.

I tried to understand this dream, and I think I have to bury the rest of the artifacts in this plain at the end of this candle, to really close this ritual. I sincerely hope I didn’t upset Astarte by relighting the candle, I meant well by making sure it was completely consumed.

Do you know if she is sometimes represented with a dog? I know she is known for being on a horse, but I haven’t seen anything linking her with a big dog.

In most cases, symbolism in dreams is very personal. It might be a representation of something you associate with the ritual and not Astarte/ Astaroth.

Astaroth is classically depicted as a male demon riding a dragon that kinda looks like a hound (it looks a bit like Falcor from The Never Ending Story, to me). That image might’ve stuck to your imagination somehow.

Astaroth and Astarte might be similar, but might not be the same entity. It’s a debated topic and I’m still a little undecided myself.
Astarte is a very ancient goddess that has been adapted in a bunch of pre-semitic and pre-islamic cultures. That means that any academic information we have about Astarte is probably quite shoddy and incomplete at best. Who knows if she had an association with hounds?

I called Asmodeus yesterday too, and I had a thought telling me to bury the artifacts of this ritual in this big park. I considered it but I didn’t really know if it was a parasitic thought coming from me or a real message.

The dream confirmed it a little, I would go in the evening to bury what remains of the ritual to close it definitively.
