I would suggest deep meditation for this. That “grey cloud” could very likely be your own conscious holding you back if that makes sense. You need to clean it up.
I forget specifics but there’s this meditative technique where you visualize that a rain cloud appears above you and as it rains it washes away all of your concerns and tensions. Then the cloud falls through you and takes all of the rest with it. Best done in a trance state.

How can you really know if a spirit is telling you the whole truth or just half the truth to test you or teach you something?
If its the Solomonic method, you have to force the spirit into the triangle using the greater chain/curse where you condemn the spirit into hell for all of eternity unless they give you a true ans honest answer

If you set up your protections properly and form a respectful interaction then the spirit will not lie to you unless you’re using dominative Magick.
Generally a lying spirit is more likely a parasitic issue, but there is red flags to tell if you’ve come into contact with a parasite such as the interaction feeling off-putting in a way you can’t really explain.
I have a couple of questions about the Bornless Ritual: First, what would happen if I used it in an attempt to summon Lucifer? I mean, since Lucifer is the spirit of rebellion and freedom, wouldn’t it be somewhat contradictory to try to assert authority over him so he’ll do what I ask? And second, can’t I just jump over the hierarchies if I performed the Bornless Ritual? Since summoning spirits using hierarchies is like telling them, “Hey, look, I have your boss’s authorization,” and in the Bornless Ritual you ask God Himself for power and authorization, wouldn’t that make you the highest-ranking being in the operation, and therefore would you be able to skip the hierarchies and summon the spirit you want to contact directly?

what i do is i meditate, touch the sigil and trace over it, have an enn playing in the background, then i try to visualize the spirit coming up from the ground. usually i start asking for requests when i feel my energy spike up and i feel as if there’s a pressure on my chest and heart pulling me.
the problem is, i dont think my astral senses have developed enough to hear them. i’ve heard a few “yes my child, it is being worked on” but that’s it! i’m confident that they’ve heard my request, but i wanted to know if it was okay that i haven’t necessarily been able to converse with them yet.
