I always find it humorous how LHP magicians always go on and on about how much of a cruel despot Yahweh is, but then completely whitewash the Greek deities.
Iâm always like, 'Um,have you not read any Greek mythology? You think the god of the Bible is the only bad one? The Greek deities punished mortals for the pettiest of reasons, and in pretty cruel ways. Arachne had the audacity to claim she was a better weaver than Athena so in a fit of pique the goddess turned her into a spider. In a later version of the Medusa myth by Ovid, Medusa was a beauty turned into a monster by Athena because she had the audacity to be raped by Poseidon in Athenaâs temple. And this is the goddess of wisdom. The Christian god is not unique in cruelty."

Agree, Athena in particular punished humans (especially women) for no reason. Medusaâs myth is the saddest Iâve seen along with Fenrirâs.
Edit to add: Keep in mind that Medusa was also Athenaâs priestess. Not only she wasnât protected by Athena, but she was punished because she dared to say that Poseidon raped her and Athena wouldnât accept that a god like Poseidon raped Medusa in her own temple. How horrible is that?

To be fair though, Zeus killed Cronus in self defence because he was eating his children due to a prophecy that said he would be deposed by his son. Zeusâ mother, Rhea, saved him with the help of Gaia, until he was old enough to take on daddy.

And people say the Christian god is evil because he didnât answer their prayers. The Greek gods would answer prayers, but they just might choose to fulfil them in their own special way, so calling to them for help is often worse than simply figuring it out for yourself lol

Demons are dark energy, infernal is a form of dark energy ânativeâ to the infernal nation. However, there are demons who work under Azrael as a psychopomp along with humans, angels, and various other entities that have death if they work with him.

Thatâs it in a nutshell. They hold a grudge against the religion of Christianity, so they blame everything on the god they worship, and ignore how similar its traits are to many pagan deities, including the famous Greek pantheon.

The relationship of any individual and whatever spirit (god, demon, angel, w/e you put identity on) will be different from another. Tbh, that relationship will be unique and is just another capillary of consciosnesd for said being to work through and explore. Without living being esp ones like humans that constantly change in what we perceive as the living existence, these beings might stagnate into boredom. (Or not⌠canât be certain).
Even those that fear and demonize give thought and power to an aspect of their existence and they can draw upon that like a battery if they want. From what Iâve âdreamtâ they can be moody or not. The ones I canât identity have some vast houses/palaces and âland/domains.â Fascinating places to be sure but perhaps its my mind that is constructing said places in relation to my human experiences. Its just so I can perceive it. When dead, it might be vastly different.
Imho, its best for each practioner to form their own relations, ties, rituals, and practices that benefit themselves. I just donât see it all as some black/white, good/evil paradox axiom (or am i thinking of a different word).
For the time being i still enjoy the dark and am a bit neutral toeards the light. Hate and wrath just seems a waste of my time.
