Anyone got magic potions for deep sleep?

I been working on stuff to knock me out after about 30 minutes of taking it, boiling banana peels has worked sorta for me.

I’m trying to mimic the effects of Benadryl essentially.

Any ideas are welcome, I’ll defiantly try it.

Seroquel usually worked for me.
Anyways, I would start with an analysis of foods typically ingested that produce drowsiness and add those.

For me, usually a edible will do.
Psalms 4 is supposed to aid with sleep.

Nice! Gonna check this out now ty

Psalms 4 that’s neat

A combination of things worked for my insomnia:

  • fixing the circanian rhythm by getting up at the same time in the morning and going to bed at the same time
  • No blue light including phone screens and laptops even in nighttime mode an hour before bed
  • hot bath
  • The cutely but aptly named ‘Sleep Fairy’ supplement or similar (you can get it on Amazon)
  • Camomile Tea
  • Valerian pillow mist
  • Extra Melatonin supplement (shouldn’t be needed if you’re young and the circadian rhythm is good)

Do i have a Potion no.
But i have a tea.

Depending on tolerance ya may need to up or lower the measurements but verbena, skull cap and valerian root do a pretty good job of knocking me out when taken together.

The valerian root acts as a muscle relaxer while the verbena and skull cap both have sedative properties.

Start with 1-2 tsps of each per cup of water.
Ya boil the valerian root first for an hour.
In the last 10 minutes ya add the verbena and skullcap.

The taste is bitter but it works.

This, plus I added some natural supplements:

  • GABA
  • 5 HTP
  • Magnesium

There’s more but I didn’t want to take more pills than my grandma. I would add some exercise too, it helps a lot; just don’t do it during the evening, if you’re excitable it may do the opposite.

This is not a potion but rather a meditation. When I was a young teen I had this problem. So, what I did is something for the long term if you are willing to try it. I started a meditation where I would pick just one word. For me it was the word “sleep”. I would repeat the word “sleep” like a chant. While doing this I would start to say the word slower and slower with each time. I would picture myself sleeping heavily and what that would feel like. It worked and still does to this day. I can lay down in bed and fall asleep within 5 minutes. Usually less than that. This chant took months for me to achieve the result I was looking for. Perhaps it will take less for you since this was something I developed for myself. I have been doing this for over 15 years and haven’t done the chant after a year of doing this. :upside_down_face: it’s not a potion like you asked for but I thought maybe you may like this. I can still recall being so desperate for sleep i sincerely empathize with you. I also would recommend any herbal tea and nothing with caffeine at least 10 hours prior to bed time. Caffeine stays in body for some time. Good luck, best regards, and may you get the best of sleep sooner rather than later.

Ahh, one last thing I should have noted. Because of this meditation/chant thing (?) (I have no clue what I would call this) I have no need for any kind of sleep aid. No teas, pills, pillow mists, melatonin, prescriptions, etc…

I always just go into hypnosis and start vibrating while identifying myself as “I am” and I can kinda do a lot with just this.

When I refer to potion I just mean something that will put me in a deep sleep so I don’t get woken up by noises. Cause then I gotta go back to sleep and hope I end up back where I was.

I had taken a break from all of this for awhile after I scared myself lol but now I’m slowly getting back into it and am kinda cheating but knocking myself out haha

Baby steps can be great steps. Rebuilding that trust again takes time but there is no rush. If no one has said it, then allow me to be the first to say " take all the time you need". I sincerely hope you find what you need here.

Oh and of course, I forgot one more thing. :upside_down_face: oat flower, lime flower, and lavender. Tea leaves. Very soothing. There is this brand of tea called pukka that makes it. They call it their night time tea. You could purchase it online if you cannot find it locally or make the blend yourself. It’s fantastic.

My personal sleep Potion  I highly recommend it. Puts me out like a light.

Hey, Girl Sleepy Time Tea

You can always smoke Chamomile as well. It is indeed safe to smoke. If you ever feel like sleep plus dreams, Mugwort is great for that.

As for an actual Potion I make but don’t drink for obvious reasons, is as follows.

A Diffuser + water + thr following 3 oils to put into the diffuser water.
Dream Oil
Lavender Oil
Night Faerie oil

Leave it on a few hours before you sleep and keep it going while you sleep.

I get all my oils from here and only here because they are stellar.
Bayou Witch
Also, maybe summon Morphus. He always is willing to aid in sleep.
