I know Hargrove lists Vuall as being able to restore trust, has anyone had success with that or any other methods?
I currently have a friend who has been convinced by others that I have not been honest with them, and I cannot convince them otherwise and they are refusing to speak with me at this time.

You could use this to implant certain thoughts and ideas into your friends mind about the situation and how they feel towards it.
