Don’t make assumptions like this, you’re only self-sabotaging. Do you think everybody hates you who doesn’t pick up the phone? It’s likely he was there and you just couldn’t sense him.
Based on your intro, you are new to magick and haven’t developed your astral senses yet. So it’s normal they aren’t working well enough to sense entities.
Just to be clear, you don’t see or hear these wit your physical eyes and ears, you sense them with your psychic aka sixth sense, also called astral senses. It’s worth putting time into developing these senses if you want to be able to receive information.
