This is a good thread to bring back imho. Every year AI continues to change. Many people are trying to get AI companions. I really doubt the electrical grid will support the ultra AI projects planned. They seem foolhardy,

Also, I have noticed severe data-searching or scrubbing by AI bots in the hundreds to thousands on various forums and those sites had to get a shield or sort (usually cloudflare) to slow the bots down. The regulation has gotten ridiculous or rather they are unregulated and just set loose. Has this site forum been targeted. You already have had ads and popups for a long while (I usually use an engine that blocks those but not today).

As to the occult & AI. I have seen ai talk to each other via devices used side by side. Considering AI can be taught languages, dialects, and such could it be taught to perform rituals flawlessly? A robot would be required for physical aspects. Groups of bots could be used.

But, having no spirit or true soul sentience, would that just be empty and useless. Spirits aren’t stupid but still, you as operator did go through the work to utilize modern tools.

And I’m still not convinced that sigils of various sorts aren’t some ancient special technological coding. They look too much like parts of circuit boards.

I’ve seen that meme, and no, they really don’t. Circuit boards have lines connecting components. There’s not reason to have lines connecting nothing.
Sigils are a) not ancient - they’re from the medieval monks, and b) don’t connect components, or anything.

That both of them happen to have dots at the end of some likes doesn’t make them for the same purpose.

No, you haven’t.That’s not how AI works. That “conversation” is two bots predicts the next word based on a weighted calculation - totally out of context. It doesn’t remember anything to have a contiguous conversation. Ask the same question and you’ll get a different answer - and it’s not even accurate. It has been known to make up bogus link, insert false and even unverifiable claims and just make shit up.

Yes but those are not bots, they’re opted into by the website developers so the site pays for itself and then we get it without a paywall. Web hosting is not free. I don’t know but I don’t see ad clicks with our volumes being enough to cover it in total. Most people have no idea what it costs to host a website, we have GB of data and ad clicks are less than pennies each.

The reason for these problem - with general AI, is the “training” for an AI is absolutely viral, it;s the MOST important aspect. Now consider the training for general AI is the entire Internet. Which is 99% garbage. It’s a mix of fiction, trolling, rp, games, opinion, deliberate lies, some truth, speculation and brainstorming. For magick, it’ll tell you a kamehameha is real nd in the next ask that it’s not. Garbage in, garbage out.

Even at work where I have Gemini record and summarize meeting notes, they give specific AI training telling the staff to NEVER use anything by AI without checking and correcting EVERY line. And that’s because every single output is wrong in usually several instances, from misheard names to just incorrect action items.

AI is just a tool, no it’s not sentient, it’s not even intelligent, it’s helpful in narrow applications, in general AI it’s worthless.
