What happens after death?

This topic has probably been discussed before on this forum, but I want to make my own thread. I was reading a PDF of Evoking Eternity. It mention the dead are shells of human spirits that were once bright suns and their light has become dark. What is the definite answer for what happens after death? Is it another journey for spirit? Can a spirit transform into an angel/demon/elemental spirit etc? Why or why not? Why is the dead stuck in limbo?

What happen with us as human beings after we die?

Does anybody have right answer? As Asatruar I believe in re-birth through family line. But this is only as a part of my belief system as Asatruar. But what is in reality? Does anybody know?

If this is indicative of things you often find yourself pondering, I cannot recommend enough to prioritize soul travel/astral projection. Work on it daily, read everything you can about. But most importantly, try the techniques and once you break through you will be able to answer these questions for yourself through your own life experience.

According to Slavic mythology, the vast majority of us will go to Nav (the realm of the dead) and be reborn. A select few of us will ascend to Prav (the realm of the bogi [gods]).

Going purely off my experiences ( necromancy stuff ), when morals die their soul enters what I refer to as limbo, for a time. It then slowly fades away and seeps back into the world. Sorcerers, depending on their allegiances, could pass into their chosen current and fade into that instead. This effectively strengthens the current by feeding it energy.
A souls can be sustained by a necromancer, which is why you’ll find the shades of the dead are often very eager to assist you.
Personally, I disagree with the theory that mortals have immortal souls that can persist across multiple lives. I feel it’s more logical to conclude that mortals draw in energy ( some of which may have some residual will from the last souls it made up ) and that slowly forms a soul over time. This model also accounts for magicians becoming more powerful overtime.

So my dog passed away a few months back and I wanted to check on him I guess my psychic senses are not really strong but I can sometimes get a jist of things, one thing I noticed was everything was neutral not particularly negative or positive, and there were some beings accompanying him or with him in the “after life” didn’t have a specific form and wasn’t having a material body but best way I can explain is light or plasma being shaped into whatever they want to be,very neutral energy? What are they?

Another thing ,he still had a sense of self like the soul is not absorbed back to the source and wasn’t sure what will happen to him.

What is death to you all? Like to me it feel like an actual being? If that isn’t weird like something that has its own will , existence, with intelligence I suppose and animals seems to sense death so do some people before it happens like days before they seem to know any input on this?

Curious [Where do cats go when they die?]

Today I woke up with bad news that my cat was hit by a car and died, yesterday, as usual, she sleeps at my place but sometimes she sleeps at my parents house, so yesterday I Realized at night that she wasn’t at my place and I assumed she was at my parents house. Today in the morning, my mum called me asking me if the cat slept at my house and I said no, she said the reason she asked is because she found a dead cat just beside the road and after verifying, it was indeed our cat, I was touched by her death. But I just know it was her time and that, she is going to another place, ( realm or dimension). I wished her farewell and also thanked her, for her time here on earth. I was curious since I have never researched, where do animals go when they die? Do they evolve like humans?
