Out of curiosity, do you believe that chakras must function in a “stack” where the ones above only function if the ones below function?
Good question and that may actually be the case. For example, if one was to practice soul travel (which is a method of opening the third eye AJNA chakra) then, yes the other “lower” qualities would fall into place.
Having said that , I personally think that a good starting place is the solar awareness chakra which acts as the axle of a big wheel much like our Sun which is the Father of all planets and is the centre of the (solar) system.
