My spirit guide - nine of cups (happiness): you got this card that would mean that the spirits have seen and heard you. But the communication is one sided for them. Since we’re dealing with the element of water I think it means you’re working with spirits to either undergo self initaition or develop your psychic abillities to strengthen your overall occult powers. They’re trying to communicate with you and maybe are even happy to help you but you’re missing signs or omens they’re trying to send your way.

How can I listen better to deepen the connection - Eight of Swords (interference): In essence you feel pretty helpless, at least in your mind as you don’t know how to fix this, hence you asked for help → this reading. But the things is you you’re succeeding you just don’t see it. They’re there and have most likely hard you, you just don’t see it. The trick is you have to pay attention to circumstances and synchroncity after the Evocation or ritual to see the little things, like numbers, animals, faces in the clouds or what have you. The summary is pay more attention.

Something to really work on - The Chariot: the Hebrew letter asociated with this card is cheth ~ fence. In a way I get that it applies to you, you’re on the fence about something. It is like you’re not trusting your abillities or the proccess since you want some kind of external confirmation and it is difficult to just let go and trust the proccess. So the idea here seems to be work with what you know, the formula and structure of the spell, ritual or conjuring of the entity until you’re done, and then simply have faith after you brought fourth an avenue for the enrgies to manifest, that they will. For example if you have cast a money spell you got to send job applications, or look out for new opportunities or make your skills and your talents visible if you don’t the energies, will just swirl around until you do that. Then they, depending on our development, will cause the desired change and you may recieve what you need to accomplish the exact goal you have specified (as a big part of money magick, is specifying what the cash is for not so much the amount) and then trying to find avenues, so the energy can start to flow in.The money magick here is just an example. But I feel it is important to bring up here. Attention is the currency of the spirit world and money is most certainly a spirit, that likes when you recognize it and pays attention to it.

How improve the former - The Tower: The old must die to make way for the new. I know it sounds oddly dramatic but this is sort of the key here. The letter here is Peh ~ mouth and speech. Why is this important? Hmmm…though one here. If all of the former is true I’d say the concept of the trinity in terms of: Thoughts, words and deeds are your key to your success with the spirits. It seems you have…fixed ideas about how things has to be in terms of making spiritual contact and all of the rules, tools and formulas that has to be in place to make it so, basically the rules are what rules. While you need to know your wand and chalice and what purpose they serve, once you know the correpondences, you got to let magick flow and no be so rigid in your approach. You have to simply do and allow the pieces of the puzzle to land back again at the flipped table so you can put them together again into a cohesive pattern. And it all starts with what you say. It is not just the words here…I know what I want to say but I can’t summarize it; you get way too cught up in what, if’s and buts, direct your thoughts into a singular focus, define what you want so your will is clear. Then in a brief way say what you want in present tense and then trust your gut feeling what it is done, even if you can’t see, hear or recognize the results right away, know that something is happening. There’s an imbalance here between listening to your inner voice (intuition) and logical mind, both has to work together towards something to make it happen.

My life’s purpose - Five of Swords (Defeat): mental failiure is the general meaning of this card. This card shows up when something is closing up, like a chapter in a book; a step on the journey. You’ve been missing an integer in the equation in some way in a previous life, and you’re repairing a set of karmic debts in this life, usually when things are really rough early in life it usually is because you’re burning away at the bad decisions and things one of your ancestors did. Your life is a bit of crucible, a trial by fire. This trial you’re undergoing now will be very revealing to you, as a fire gives off light (the light of illumination), but you must be willing to face life head on, warts and all. If you’re serious about calling spirits and dealing with them then expect a bit of resistance from friends or family, which is more important? How do I get closer to said purpose - Adjustment (a.k.a. Justice): I might be onto something with the Karmic balance and scales being tipped a bit too much towards one end. Things are at this moment smoothing out, let it. The Hebrew letter associated with this is Lamed ~learning or to teach. I think you’re holding on to hard, you have to let go of control a bit regarding how you think spirit contact should manifest itself to you, and instead just let it. As the spirits themselves likely will be a key integer in balancing out the Karmic debt you’ve got, in order for you to recognize them you need to find the same balance, you have to listen but you also must speak in equal measure, you have to pay attention to detail but you must also zoom out to the see the greater picture, this bringing yourself into balance is something should focus on to alleviate the past life debt I mentioned earlier.
