Also, this may seem general but I want to know what makes demons deliver on occasions and leave you hanging on others like sometimes spells work really fucking well but you do the same at another time and nothing happens.

Don’t forget to teach on how to burn karma, not the white-light bullshit but the more practical matter of burning weakness and shredding negative thoughtforms holding you back from ascent.
Also, that may tie in with the “cause and effect” aspect of it, don’t forget that.
