Xanax and sleep

I did do a search - I didn’t find anything that was similar to my problem. I am prescribed Xanax to help with extreme anxiety. My problem is that I can’t fall asleep without it. And I struggle to dream with it. My dreams used to be exceptionally vivid. Terrible nightmares (from being younger). I have literally dreamt in vast detail both heaven and hell. (Before I ever knew a left hand path existed). This was 20 years ago.

I’m wondering what I can do ?? Natural sleep doesn’t come easy. But help with sleep doesn’t create dreams. Quite the pickle. I’ve been really focused. I’ve made a dream pillow to help see if herbs/flowers/scents can induce dreams.

Last night I did have dreams about nails in my teeth … nails holding my teeth in. Not a nightmare… it wasn’t anything horrible. It was just simple nails holding my teeth.

I would like to dream more. Open to any suggestions. Thank you

I used to abuse benzos heavily. Let me tell you, you are in more trouble than you realize if you think you can keep taking these pills. Alprazolam AKA Xanax is the most addictive of the benzodiazepine family. It lowers inhibitions greatly and a person will often fiend for this substance as it serves as an effective dopamine hit.

Whatever you do, make sure to gradually taper off of them if you should so choose to do so. Rapid cessation will result in anxiety, sleeplessness, and scariest of all, seizures, and potentially death if you have been on these for a while.

I have been hospitalized not once but TWICE trying to come off of those drugs. IT absolutely WILL break down your brain eventually to the point of Dementia or Alzheimers.

How is your memory? Benzos are well known to cause serious problems with cognition as well as basic memory functions. Your MAIN goal should be to get off these drugs. Everything else in your life will improve once you are free of them.

Sleeplessness is something I have experienced more so recently now that the implementation of 5G technology has arrived along with other high intensity EMF wave outputs.

You may need to shield your room from all of these things with either a faraday cage or a graphite based paint.

Wireless devices of the modern kind, ie. cellphones, tablets and wifi routers will cause you serious harm to your health. And YES they will cause sleeplessness! Your Pineal gland is very sensitive and needs to be protected from radiation sources. As well, it should be purged of toxins through proper diet and supplementation.

The Pineal gland releases melatonin and is responsible for your circadian rhythm (Sleep Cycle). It is also the seat of the third eye or Anja Chakra and will potently influence dreams and visions.

I have always been sensitive to my environment, but only recently has my life gotten worse as a result of increased wireless traffic flowing through the air waves. I too have now started taking a sleeping pill because I feel I have no other choice. I plan on shielding my bedroom once I have enough money to pay for materials.

I wish you much luck. Take care

Oh wow!!! I had no idea!! Thank you for sharing. I do have a terrible memory, I thought it was due to stress. And also a head injury. This is scary though. I’ve never considered them an addiction… just a means to help me sleep. Thank you for all the information… That really doesn’t sound healthy.
