Don’t try to force it then. Work with the first method where you use the cipher to write a petition to the Demon. One thing you can try out is once you have your petition written don’t do a ritual with it straight away, leave it somewhere within your site, like by your laptop or computer, or anywhere where you will see it often. By doing this you will charge your petition with a lot of energy just from your subconscious awareness constantly taking in the petition visually while your conscious mind is focused on other things. Then do the ritual.
Magick is not a race. Try to master the first method which is writing petitions and then once you have gotten consistent and amazing results with that move onto the second method connective evocation, and then once you master that move onto the third method of visual evocation. I cannot do visual evocation yet. Most Magicians can’t.
It can be reassuring to feel the presence of Demons or other spirits but I’ve had rituals where that has been the case and I failed to get the result I wanted, and rituals where the quality of the evocation wasn’t there for whatever reason but I still got the result I wanted.

Hey mate. Not sure if you’re still around. I did my first ritual yesterday. Spent days learning and practicing the ritual opening and think I nailed that. I think I got the rest right from the core ritual and ritual one.
Can you reference notes at all? I don’t need it for the opening, but I did for the core and ritual one. I don’t want to redo the ritual in case I made a mistake (I am OCD. Legitimately and diagnosed, so I constantly check and recheck in case I forgot something).
Also, the book says if you think a power could apply, it probably does. have you found this to be the case? I was reading Marbas and he has “to have the appearance and demeanor of one unlike yourself” (interesting because I mostly knew him for healing). This led me to think “oh shit! That’s glamour!!” Do you think my reasoning is off? (I’m thinking of using Marbas to make me have the “appearance like Henry Cavill” then layering Sitri’s aura. It’s something I’ve always wanted to experience. I’m going to experiment regardless I think, but was curious your take. Wish there was a good place to ask these questions).

I tend to overthink too. And I never really give any pointers because I’m not a true student. I just have pretty good retention and I can remember the steps easily.
My issue is more of my wandering and thinking of different parts of the ritual instead of staying in the moment. The part of the ritual I mistrust myself with the most is the evocation keys. I spend a lot of time there gazing into the seal while toggling through the keys. I also tend to stick to the power description with the book as closely as possible, BUT none of these Spirits’ abilities are limited to any list of powers.
I try to have fun with the magick even though we’re doing life-changing things with these entities. Before every ritual, I try to get into a mind state of gratefulness for the knowledge of magick. It makes it feel like the only way I can get into the sense of wonderment I had as a child, like having a secret cheat code to life that others around me wouldn’t dare to indulge in. What other way in your life can you fully express your Divine Sovereignty aloud and not be considered crazy. 
I think, if you think you messed up, it could be sabotaging to the ritual energy. TRUST YOURSELF! Your being alive holds all the Divine Power you need for any of these rituals to work. Get the steps right as close as possible by practicing them separately first. Then make a cheat sheet if necessary. Maybe you could deal with Dantalion or Paimon for your OCD. There’s another Spirit suggested in this forum that’s great for helping with “lusting for result” I think, Your issue sounds more like trusting yourself, so search for a Spirit that gives confidence

Thanks mate. I appreciate it. I haven’t gotten results yet that I noticed on either of the two rituals I did. One was admittedly a stretch, but the other was Sitri’s aura of lust and I figured I would have seen something there. I am going to try again when I get over this cold I have and start to get some good sleep. Thanks for the reply.

I have not worked with that power. Interestingly I have just started working with Marbas’ foundational power.
One thing I have noticed is if I do a ritual the effect won’t be that strong, it will last for some time say a month and then the effect will cease. If I add energy say 3 weeks after I did the ritual it will last for an additional month but the effect won’t get any stronger.
For a ritual as extreme as having the appearance and demeanor of Henry Cavill, I think that doing the ritual once and repeating it monthly won’t be enough.
You don’t need to repeat the ritual daily but if you do the call to the Angel constraining Marbas and the Invocation Psalm and then just mentally repeat Marbas’ name (do this bit for at least 5 minutes daily, 15 would be preferable), I think you would get some serious results.
Do this for 33 days. Have the intention that the energy you raise doing this is for the ritual you did. My best rituals have been ones I have done day after day. Think about it like this the power of the ritual on day 33 could be 100 times greater than its power on day 1.
Nice. Thank you for that, that’s perfect. I am going to try this on Sitri’s aura of lust. I have the empowered version so technically you don’t have to do this more than once and I was a tad nervous it’d be like doubting it too much. But if you had results repeating it, I will give that time and do this daily. I got spare time now, so I can definitely focus in on stuff like this. I’ll repeat the name and I guess I could also burn the petition nightly. That’s a lot of burning, but I’ll give it a shot. (Tried evocation but I actually hard a harder time getting that with more involved rituals than I do getting answers or images from vibrating enns). Thanks again! (Definitely don’t need to look like Henry Cavill, I just really wants a “smack you in the face this ritual is strong and obvious” experience to boost confidence.)

You don’t need to do the ritual daily. Just the bit with the Angel Hahael, the Invocation Psalm, calling the Angel’s name again. And then calling Sitri and the evocation keys.
You are just after building affinity and power behind your relationship with Sitri’s sigil.

I need your opinion on demons of magick again.
I ve been actively involved in invocations, with the first method.
What should I do if i notice tangible results just after having written my intent on the paper ?
Should I consider the manifestation fully obtained?
Or should i perform the rituals ? I noticed that demons of influence were more inclined to work faster ( Seer, Paimon , Dantalion).!
Maybe the answer is “ it s depends on the context and the nature of the topics “.
If I consider contacting Vine in order to protect a very specific aspect of my life, is the protection actually provided as soon as my intention is crafted on the paper ?
Or would it be wise to perform the ritual at least one hour later ?
Same question concerning cursing.
For those who have used Sallos with Ritual Two (Connective Evocation) from Demons of Magick, how would you word the desire when the final outcome is an actual relationship with a specific person?
For example:
“[Target’s name] is my girlfriend.”
“[Target’s name] is in love with me.”
“[Target’s name] is in love with [my name].”
“[Target’s name] is determined to be my girlfriend.”
Is there any advantage to using both people’s names rather than saying “me”?
Also, “determined to be my girlfriend” seems to describe an intention rather than the completed result, whereas “[Target’s name] is my girlfriend” states the final outcome as already achieved. How would people experienced with DOM phrase this?
