Is working with deities like Lord Azazel, King Paimon etc the same as religion where you need to commit to showing them appreciation everyday?
Or is it only at your convenience?
My type of working Magick is Demonolatry Magick and i try to build relationships with thr deities.
But sometimes i feel that am lacking or not doing enough, is that them signaling me or is that astral parasites manipulating my subconscious thoughts to fee them ??
Show me someone other than the rare priest/ess who also commits to showing appreciation daily. I don’t mean going through the motions like brushing your teeth.
I’ve seen all sorts of approaches. Some people commit to that singular daemon and that’s their one daemon for all time with a letter sweater and everything. Some people like myself keep options open because commitment isn’t something you just casually throw around, and a contractual working is similar to contracting that dude to work on your porch…. but with more power and a different level of attitude. When the job is done, you aren’t going to keep the carpenter in your closet. Poor guy.
Same goes for those who are raised in religion. They may go through the motions, but for many going to church on Sunday is more something you do because that’s what you do and it’s a social event, less about God or whatever.
Depends on your view point. Paimon and Azazel are not deities to me. They are Daemons. Spirits with great knowledge and power but are not worshipped. Worshipped by some but then it becomes Demonolatry and jot demonology.
To me it was a mixture of both. It was a devotion to Jesus the son as well as a sense of community. Most of the Christians I was with and the church i was with was lovely. But later on in life I came to realise that even if I had believed, I wasn’t going for God or “gods house”. I was going for the people and the energy
