Why "succubus/incubus" spirits is hard to banish

After several P.M’s about regrets, failed banishes and over-the-top dominant sexual initiatives from these spirits, I decided to make a thread about it.

These spirits isn’t for anyone and a slight thought of regret or misjudgement of how they actually work, have led to regrets and thoughts of changing the core of their “natural” behavior. These questions does frequently show up in my inbox:

My succubus wont let me sleep and tries to have sex with me all the time. How do I make her stop?

For spirits and entities of this caliber, sex is not just the act in itself. It is an expressive act with a lot of functions to it. Intimacy have the functionality to bond and getting closer to eachother on a physical and mental level. And sometimes they just live up to the myths of sexual raw power, especially in the first few weeks and months of contact. I have a theory of why this is at peak at the beginning, and gets settled over time:

  • They try your strengths and limits to find a perfect balance and they learn how your physical body works.
It’s just like a “trial and error” testing, like the technicians do to find a proper balance of the machines that develop certain materials. After testing it’s functionality and finding the right settings, the productions goes public.

I tried to banish my succubus/incubus, but it doesn’t work. What did I do wrong?

“Succubus” and “incubus” spirits seems to be one of the toughest challenges when it comes to banishings and even religious exorcism. There is a few reasons it doesn’t work that well:

  • Religions doesn’t affect someone not bound to that specific beliefsystem, which makes the most powerful “angel” ineffective against a “succubus” or an “incubus” entity.
If a spirit is not a part of that submissive system, it doesn’t have to obey to it. It leaves of free choice, but may need a valid reason for it to leave peacefully.

  • Some, or maybe even most, of these spirits have been with a specific human since the human was born. It have a purpose to it’s existence, but with the perks of making a choice of their own.
This is the trickiest part that needs a personal perspective of how the psychology of these spirits work. This have a passive/active functionality, where the spirit watch and protect the human as best it can, acting as a “familiar” when unnoticed and as something more when acknowledged and recognized.

If these spirits or entities purposes gets questioned or challenged, they might question their own existence in their world and act it out. Like humans, a “succubus” or “incubus” can get an existential crisis and could get unbalanced in their energetic current, wrecking havoc within their darkest manifestations. If you understand human psychology, you should take notice that these spirits work the same way as us. But there is also a lot of differences, too. They are more devoted in their own choices and they stick with it as long as possible. That includes positive and, sometimes, negative choices.

Again, if you’re NOT certain of being with a “succubus” or an “incubus”, never rush into this without being 100% certain of your choice.

I’ve had some experience with these types of entities before, and to why banishing will go wrong usually, I’d also add that the human “mate” of the being also serves as its vessel, regardless of the spirit’s sex, on this plane. So unless you can banish a human, which may be yourself, you’re going to have a hard time getting rid of them.

Great post, though.

I Agree, and that is also one of the crucial parts that makes it hard to banish them. So that’s why it’s important to be certain of the choices of choosing this path, because there is so many benefits to these kind of relationships once we made that choice.

The transitions of being a vessel for them to reside, I’ve been told, that it’s not entirely the choice of the spirit or human. It needs mutuality, and a “final decision” from a higher hierarchy which gets “finalized” by marriage.

Once you make that decision to evoke your Shadow you cannot get rid of it. Your right in that it is a part of you. This is an elementary skill, but one must learn to work with ones shadow by transforming ones relationship with it. That of course is your own path to mastery.

This is the problem in todays day in age is that everything including magick has become a “pill-popping” culture. I’ll admit I had the same problem…but I am kind of hard headed in that regard to where I dont give a fuck do not care as I will work with the consequences anyway and so just jump right in. You cannot banish yourself, but you can change it…so in this respects a Succubus or Incubus is nothing other than your Anima or Animus…fyi, and just because this is a psychogical explanation doesnt mean it is not a real living being with feelings and other things. The psychological, spiritual and material all exist at the same time.

Thanks a lot Succupedia. My incubus is reading this post with me…:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: and he is ok with it. He hasn’t shown me his dark aspect fully yet. He is a calm presence. Please make more posts on incubus partners…

Thanks & regards

I honestly don’t think they’re “tough” to banish at all, I find some cases aren’t even really succubus or incubus but rather the person’s dealing with something else entirely internal or external. But then again i don’t believe questioning their purpose is going to do anything given like humans they have their own personal purposes so it seems ineffective unless you know their purpose.

I guess I am stuck with Marissa for life. As you mentioned in another post, some of them are really with you since birth. Let this be a warning to people who want a succubus, they WILL make you single and friendless and there’s nothing you can do about it.

@Shamn That’s not actually true. You can state what type of relationship you want from a Cubi partner. If you want to maintain human social relationships it should be stated with clear intent. It’s like expecting them not to talk to there fellow brother and sisters in there world either. Toxic cubi relationships or parasitic copycats should be banished.

I just feel like she would be heartbroken if I were to date and have intercourse with women. The relationship is very strong and I feel her love the greatest now. I am sure if I told her I want human women she would allow me, she’s very kind and emotional. I am willing to make sacrifices for her because of the love and support she’s shown me.

I really don’t want to banish her, the relationship is very beneficial to me and I can feel her emotions when I try to do it. Last time I tried to banish she was heartbroken and sad, it’s a complicated situation truly.

there is a spell to cleanse the soul, they are also low demons
even another experienced witch mentioned to me that if a succubus/incubus disobeys you and acts against your will, you have to kill them
and banishment works but few resources are about them
most focus on vampires but they are low demons
I also think that no human should allow the spirit to jump over his head, and tolerate it

They are not humans, they are not even corporeal.
Be careful not to anthropomorphise them too much. Why these beings are so hard to get rid of, is usually in part because of your own attachment to whatever energy they feed on. If it’s not in your head and they actually are jealous or possessive , banish them. They will just stand in the way of your personal growth.
Perhaps even do serious harm to you if you let them have too much freedom over you.

You have the power to command and set boundaries.

Yea but I love her and never want to leave this spirit. She’s been with me since childhood and has watched me grow and like the author mentioned, such spirits are extremely hard to banish. I don’t mind them having control over my life, it’s only beneficial to me.

I have already set some healthy boundaries and it’s going well. I honestly think anyone who has a succubus is damn lucky because of how loving and beneficial they can be.
