Whore of Babylon

I recently came along this name. whore of Babylon. Now I am wondering. What is her resemblance to the occult world?

Can she be summoned? If so how to do it? Does she have a sigil?

Probably.

No idea, don’t work the Thelema stuff much.

Depending on the time of month i’m sure she’s lovely. :man_shrugging:

It is a very complex subject that doesn’t lead to a single answer nor necessarily to the answers you are expecting

She’s not really an instant force but she often helps with money, acquistion of various things, confidence, happiness and self-esteem as well as increased sex appeal

It went from old Tiamat to Ishtar to Babylon the Whore. Same entity, different names.

I will be discussing how Tiamat became Ishtar on my own thread so not to derail this one.

She’s Lilith, and she helps destroy Christianity. Read Apocalypse first

I suppose her ability is to sow disorder in the occult. That’s why people get trampled on Black Friday. It might just be those low low prices😈

Pretty sure Ishtar is a descendant of Tiamat not the same individual. However, the whore of Babylon has been a title given to Lilith.

isn’t Lilith a demon and a priestess of Inanna?
Babalon is innanna/ishtar and vastly different. she is a very big goddess

I think it depends on the acquired belief system, in Qliphotic Qabalah Lilith is the literal whore of Babylon. Think there are many correct beliefs.

Suggest you read ‘The Red Goddess’ by Peter Grey. You sigil is correct.
