So I have a question for you guys. I am new as you know and know very very little when it comes to these beings and what they mean. You guys state he’s just a energy form to represent a thing or/and quality of the magician or from the NT, yet I just did a cleansing and called on the beings I work with. I then called forth any being that wished to aid in my growth and to aid me in getting to my highest form. Of all beings Baphomet came. Yes Iv seen pictures of him/her/Baphomet, but never read anything on this person or origin. So how can just a representation pop up plain as day and basically say I will help you. Just saying that makes no sense at all. And to also answer the question, no I know that was not an imposter or just my mind. And to add I was getting my space set up for deep studying and to get my GED. So I found it interesting how this happened and yet he’s supposed to be nothing more then a representation. 
Ive recently started working with baphomet. Many people have different views on him/her. Aside from the knights templar crap, satanists use it as a representation of satan, wiccans have used baphoment as a representation of the dualistic male and female architypes in harmony with the universe. Sometimes people call to this being and it comes as male, or female, or both. To me its a real being that has a pretty “universal” energy

The Babylonian deity of Knowledge would be Ea, a god who has no clear ties to Baphomet. I’ve also never heard of there being a god of duality in unity in Babylonian Mythology, so if you could point me to a source for that too that would be great.

I know for a fact Baphomet has a domain and a love for knowledge. Baphomet coming to you during studying makes so much sense. Baphomet came to me as my patron and offered to teach me magick. Ever since I’ve been recieving more magick/occult resources than ever before.
Ea could have easily decided to take on the form of Baphomet and changed their personality in order to remain relevant. Just like how Yahweh took on the role of Jehovah in modern day Christianity. You never know.

Just a few days ago I thought maybe I should give up on seeking someone then h appeared and the pentagram they moved over each other then light shot out of them and created a pyramid.
For me he tends to appear more satanic in nature accompanied by the pentagram inverted. Seems though from the message if I go after the one I want I’ll miss out on one that could possibly complete me.

You really think Hekaté is the exact same as she was before she introduced herself to humanity? Interactions with humanity along with the desire to be reverred by humanity can cause a deity to change themselves both intentionally and unintentionally.
Deities change but only in the sense of taking on new attributes along with their old ones or they meld together to form something new.
How can you say something to be a fact, when you have no clue.
