Whilst I agree with the sentiment as a western woman with experience of dating one…
It’s just so much more a part of their culture
I can’t really see it as a bad thing, it’s just different
and takes sacrifice to respect and understand their culture to be with one if you don’t have that life experience

Muslims and Jews it’s not only religion, their religion forms a whole culture around it that permeates every part of their life. There are strict rules followed even if they don’t necessarily “believe”
Christians tend to be more relaxed in that plenty identify as Christian but don’t necessarily practice and have a more western experience of life…
And other religions that stem from other parts of the world, culture is sort of formed by religion far more so than in the western world
I think I’m trying to say it’s as much part of their identity as it is their faith

Thats true they pretended to like me but then shove their values down my throat that they were riteous and go to heaven etc whereas everyone else would go to hell etc
I still saw his family even when i did not see him so i am not sure what the game was

You have to realize that in general, Muslims regard Christian Kafir women as loose and a past time, and would never marry/commit to you. When a Muslim marries a woman, he will marry an “honourable” Muslim woman, not a disrespectable Christian “whore”. (Sorry, their vocabulary, not mine!)
I’m from northern Europe, and we have a lot of unfortunate experience with Muslims around here, things that you Americans are just now starting to learn. We are Kafir to them, and part of the Dal-al-Harb. They look down upon us. They look down upon you. In fact, if the guy simply stopped seeing and gave up on you, he is probably acting “nice” towards you, relatively speaking.

Nah I see what you mean, oftentimes it’s just treated as edgy religion. I don’t necessarily agree with blanket judgements of an individual based on their faith either as individuals vary in what parts they actually engage in. That said I also disagree with the idea of labeling people as a “___phobe” as a means of acting as if their dislike of a way of being or belief system is somehow inherently rooted in fear or is somehow wrong for being based in a “negative” emotion of hate or dislike. I judge people on an individual basis, but acknowledge oftentimes stereotypes and etc exist for a reason based on a trend of action. Anyway, to avoid breaking the rules by getting political with any of this i’ll leave it there and wish you a good day and a fruitful path.
