What happens after death? Opinions?

I don’t know. I guess I will figure it out one day. If I’m still around to answer this question though something went wrong.

yeah, obviously no one actually knows-- I’m just trying to learn different perspectives

Good luck with your learning man. I would look into this thread to learn more about Greek Mythology:

Indeed… according to some spiritual point of views, a dead being would dissolve returning to the various “original” principles from whence it came.
The situation is progressively different according to how much one advanced on the Path, or for example people devoting themselves to a cause: some detachment from the body (this approach isn’t used always, e.g. the body is important in Tantrism) and an inner unity is realized.

When I was near death it felt calming and I would have been ready to go if I didn’t have little boys who depended on me.

But I think when a person dies they can go into the white light to be reborn, and wait in a purgatory (for lack of a better word) that mimics where they feel they should have ended up.

Or if they have guardians they go with them and after that they go home.

Personally I Believe in reincarnation
here is a post I replied on this subject a while ago.

You’ll be buried…
Other things are only speculations…

I was raised to believe in reincarnation…until the lessons your soul needs to be learnt have been completed…

I believe in different astro plains and the incredible hidden possibilities that we can experience when our soul no longer needs to be reincarnated back on to the earthly plain…

What happens? Probably nothing whatsoever. Unless the source decides to reboot you, as yourself or somebody / something else.

That seems to make the most sense to me as well.
I’ve always wondered if anyone has ever asked an entity/demon what happens after humans die, and I wonder if they’ve ever answered :joy: I guess that seems silly, but I’ve been curious about that for years.

No matter what we say it’s either our own personal gnosis or someone else’s personal gnosis (what we heard, what we read etc). I can tell you about the underworld I have been in one of my travels, but obviously that doesn’t mean its the same everyone else might have experienced, or what happens for real. :woman_shrugging:

That sounds really interesting, would you mind sharing your experience? No worries if you’d rather not share, of course

Warning: UPG

Where I was, and I’ve been there multiple times, what we call “Hell” and “Heaven” is the same place. Usually the dead cannot leave, as the soul is getting more or less mindless upon entering the underworld. That is caused first by the shock of death and second because they have to shed away whatever memories they had as living beings in order not to suffer.

Most souls are like this, but some souls are overcoming this state of being mindless. It takes some requirements and a lot of effort from the soul’s part. You can say that they have showed a “good behaviour” for a period of time and these souls are permitted to occupy a physical body and be in and out the underworld. Not necessary as reincarnated souls who have access to the underworld almost at all times. Some can just occupy on and off a body of another living being. These ones we call them “safe cases” and you can say its like the ascended dead. They are still dead, but with privileges.

There are also a few exceptions were they become malicious and start attacking others, humans who travel in the underworld and other souls as well. Having someone to escort you there during your travels, can aid with your protection. I’m usually escorted by a demon of necromancy for example.
Beside these 3 categories (mindless, malicious and “in and out ascended”) there are some souls who have reached the state of “ascension” but choose to stay in the underworld instead. They have build their own society, with their own laws and hierarchy.

That’s all I can share for now, hope it helps

Check out the book titled Journey of the souls by Michael Newton. The author is a psychiatrist whom hypnotized people into believing they had died and took notes on what they saw. Still reading it but my trippy mushroomhead dad is the one who suggested to me… i miss being a mushroomhead… just got off the phone with him and hes eating 7 grams tonight :joy:

My shamanic friend told me to die is like going home. You find ancestors you maybe never knew. Unclear is only who’s there and who’s incarnated.

That’s really interesting, and makes sense based on what I’ve witnessed when both of my parents passed. Thank you for your input

Thanks, I’ll definitely check it out
side note: :joy: y’all seem fun to be around

I can only speculate as I am still very much alive. But keeping in mind that this is UPG, when I traveled to Helheim when I was working with the Norse pantheon and meeting Hel, I ended up at a cavern deep in the earth, surrounded by these glowing spheres that had faces flashing on them. When I asked Hel about them, she said they were individual afterlives that the dead could rest in if they choose, rejoining with loved ones. So, I guess it is particularly up to the deceased where they go

I asked for confirmation that this was the last lifetime…you can gain a lot of knowledge astro traveling and I always ask for knowledge…topic always depends on my mission in my mind,

I have, I usually got varying answers but the majority in those answers were that there was a choice ultimately. Other than that I usually search my past lives and times between lives.
